stop in because the locals as say this is a great restaurant.....well it may be for them however the service was really slow (almost non-existent) they take your order and forget about you until they bring the food....no checking to see if everything is okay or if you need a re-fill...not very pleasant unless they know who you are....food was okay but nothing to rave about....won't be back....and will not recommend

Nothing fancy here but just of locals place to grab a Michigan (loved it! $5 for 2 hot dogs slathered with a red spicy meat sauce secret). They say they make a great cheese-steak but being from Philly, I'd say it was "OK". Lots of locally made baked goods and desserts available but we didn't try. Very friendly helpful staff.

A nice little spot to grab lunch. Loved the fries. Service was really good. Parking is tough - it's a small lot with tight access, but we parked across the road in the end and that worked.

We are not a "fast food" restaurant. Each order receives our patient attention. Our meals are individually prepared from scratch ingredients", we use few convenience foods. Donna and Victor, the owners, bake all the bread, burger buns and deserts from scr
Doesn't look like much from the outside but what a warm and friendly atmosphere with great food and great local beer. We had the BBQ special which was excellent. Great sides too (eg. herbed new potatoes). Almost didn't find it as on the Faust side of town but so glad we did. Nice finish to a great stay in the Tupper Lake area. Just three of us but a large multi-generational family seated nearby enjoying a great meal as well.Yeah, I know we are old but our dedication is strong. Thanks for the nice words and we hope we see you again.

I'm in love with this simple, unpretentious palace of deliciousness! We took a long early fall drive to Tupper Lake. We bypassed the Italian and Fine Dining spots, both looking yummy, to have lunch here. Both of us enjoyed a wonderful breakfast meal, large, fresh and delicious. Prompt service, cash only. Worth every mouthful. Totally enjoyed this comfortable place. Would love to return.

"One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever we are doing and devote our attention to eating" - Luciano Pavarotti
My husband. And I had a wonderful dinner on a Tuesday night! The place is on the small side, but the service and presentation was excellent. Very upscale atmosphere, a bit on the pricey side for the entrees. Good selections to choose from on the menu. I would highly recommend the Amado!

Wow! Outstanding! They've had the same owners for 32 years, and Iâve been coming for approximately 20 years.Itâs been a while since weâve been up this way and we are so glad that we stopped in and still had an amazing meal. The service is equal to the delicious food!Try the lumberjack special... You wonât be disappointed! ...If you still have room, try the pies!

Raquette River Brewing is a Micro-Brewery specializing in small batch handcrafted ales. We also serve ciders and wine from New York State farm wineries and cideries.
Come for the beer not the food. Large wood frame building with picnic tables houses the bar where many selections of beer are dispensed. Food trucks are located adjacent to the building where you can order takeout food that can be picked up when ready. Some outside seating and a small bandstand that wasn't being used when we visited.

Dropped in for late lunch and wished weâd gone someplace else. The grill was down for âmaintenanceâ, whatever that means, so the only items available were salads or deep fried foods. The Caesar salad was good but wanted more. Would not revisit. Thanks for your feedback. The grill/kitchen was not available as we were preparing for the 3 weddings we were catering that day, and we did have all of our salads/sandwiches/paninis available. Best of luck with your future travels.

Big Tupper Brewing is an Adirondack Pub offering great beer and comfort food in a relaxed and inviting family-friendly setting that celebrates the area's history. We offer indoor and outdoor seating.
Nice brewery atmosphere. Enjoyed our meals. Had a great appetizer - a dip with corn in it, don't miss it. A fun night. Recommend you stop here for dinner if you are in Tupper Lake (and of course don't miss the keg urinals in the bathroom before you leave :- )Thanks for the nice review KAM. We appreciate it when folks take the time to write a positive review, and it means a lot to our staff. They work extremely hard at providing the best for our customers. Glad you had fun and our urinals are one of the most photographed things in the area! CHEERS!!
