Ate here with 4 friends as we were attending a conference and it was convenient. While the room service menu is varied, the menu offered was extremely limited, consisting of 3 soups, 4 salads, a burger, a couple of sandwiches, Penne with meatballs, a steak, and maybe one other item. We ordered 2 burgers (average at best) two French Onion Soups with a Caesar Salad (again average at best) and a Pastrami Reuben (barely edible not grilled, with tasteless sauerkraut, hard melted cheese looked like it had been run under some kind of broiler or heater, and about a half teaspoon of thousand islands dressing.) Service was haphazard. . .waitress took 3 out of 5 drink orders and left. .had to almost physically restrain her to take our order). In all a very disappointing experience for what is supposed to be a higher end hotel. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the restaurants off property. . .

When you're looking for good food with family, a drink with friends, or even just a place to watch the game, come see what's cooking at the Mason Jar! We believe that variety is the spice of life so our menu is all about options. Choose from a crisp salad
While the food is good, it's not worth tolerating the service. We were a table of ten, so I understand some difficulty, but not like this. We waited 15 minutes for a waitress who took our drink orders and was gone for another ten minutes. When she did return, she only brought half of the drinks, came back with all but one, then returned with the last. We waited another ten minutes before she came back to take our food orders. We specifically asked her if she wanted to know how the check was to be split before we started ordering. She did, and appeared to write that information down as she took orders. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our food, which is understandable with such a large party; however, only one or two entrees at a time appeared, and these were all served by different staff members. The food was good, although some had gotten cold as we waited for everyone to be served before we began to eat. After the meal, our waitress came to the table with one check. When we reminded her how the check was to be split, she began bringing one check to the table at a time, asking each person what they ordered before she went off to calculate the next check. The one-at-a-time routine began all over again as she took our checks. As usual with large parties, a gratuity of 20% had already been added to each check. I should have refused to pay it, but all I wanted was to leave. We wish you would have requested to speak to a manager.....The Mason Jar must apologize for the lackluster service....for whatever personal reasons our server had a melt down....One of our floor manager's helped out when she saw our server was not performing up to snuff...Next time you come in please ask to speak to me, Ira Kaplinâ¦..Again we know there was a problem, and hopefully it is now corrected....Thank you for your attention and letting us hear from you.

We received an e-mail coupn for a free Bloomin Onion and decided to take advanatage of the offer and go to Outback for dinner. We were moderately hungary and ordered only the Bloomin Onion and the steak quesedilla, to share.1) The onion was avwery greasy, only positive was that since the last time, the breading was less salty.2) The quesedillad was almost indedible. Too cheesy and greasy. The scant strips of steak were OK.3) We only ate two pieces and decided to take th remainder home to try to make it more pleasant. 4) To add insult to injury, we had requested cocktail sauce and asked for some to take home.. Our server, brought the leftovers to our table in a shopping abag den said your cocktail sauace is right here.Upon arriving home, i unpacked the bag to refrigerate th leftovers. Surprise, no cocktail sauce, Only, an empty styrofoam container. This is not the way things should be. We'd like to review this further if you could please take a moment to send me an email at [email protected] with the subject "TripAdvisor - Suffern, NY". We can then correspond directly over email. Delicious food, great service and a nice atmosphere. What more could you want when dining out?. Our server, Jim, was very attentive and also very engaging. He made suggestions on the menu and we were not disappointed. I had the filet of sole, which was delicious. My husband had the veal saltimbocca, which he said was awesome. We weren't rushed through the meal and lingered over coffee and dessert. The ice cream for dessert was divine, made at a local NJ plant and only sold to restaurants, unfortunately!. We will definitely be back when in the area again.Thank you so much and thank you for taking your time to send a review! I will let Jim know how pleased you were with him and next time you can request him. Have a great weekend!

I canât understand the heat rating . Out of our 2 dishes neither was even âgoodâI had chicken salad pita with cheddar. It must have been microwaved... the cheese slices were semi melted and all else cold. The other dish was an omelette which was mediocre as well. The asparagus added didnât serve to be drained so it was watery. The only thing we liked were the zucchini sticks which came with the pita . It was busy .. so it took a while for the waitress to get back over to us so I could get sone lettuce do I could peel the half lard cheese off and make a sandwich. But the chicken salad lacked flavor with nothing added for taste. Worst meal Iâve had In a while .

Stopped here for lunch and had a cheeseburger with mashed potatoes and gravy (instead of french fries). Menu was quite large, but I was really just craving a burger. It was all very good. The burger was delicious, actually and the waitress was very nice. Always good to find a good diner.

Sutters Mill has been around forever. They have unbelievable burgers and truly the best wings around. The chicken claim is a special that you must try. Overall if you are looking for solid American and Bar food, this is a must stop.

We stopped in for lunch while in town and sampled several dishes. We had a turkey avocado wrap, cauliflower pizza and a fruit crisp. The wrap was bland, lacking any real flavor. The cauliflower pizza was ok, sauce and cheese were tasty but crust could use some work. The overall crisp flavor was good but had too little fruit and too much topping. There were a lot of menu items to choose from, so maybe we just didnât get the better items.

Stopped in because it was close to the hotel and serving food a little later. We ended up just getting nachos to share. They were alright. Nothing to write home about. Staff were ok. Friendly enough. The place felt a bit run down. Prices seemed a little on the high side for the type of place it is. I suppose if you were coming for drinks and the game this place would be ok!

A terrific selection of BBQ meats, including pork, beef, and chicken. Also shrimp, turkey, and a whole slew of vegetables and great side dishes. The portions are large, the selection includes platters, sandwiches, and a bunch of salads (with meat of course!). One nice aspect is that you can order just a meat dish, and yes/no as to sides. Parking is tight, but doable. There are daily specials, including a Monday all you can eat buffet.
