AJ's is a collaboration of America's Favorite Foods served seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. AJ makes everything in house using fresh ingredients and an orchestra of recipes. We serve pan sandwiches on our homemade bread; chicken, bro
Just had a great lunch at AJâs. Read about the place on TripAdvisor and it was every bit as delicious, friendly and fun as suggested. AJ spent time chatting about his homemade yummy food, sent over some things he just thought we should taste, and even chatted about bbq sauce with my husband, who has become an amateur rib chef this summer.Burgers were delish. Pulled pork, too. Perfectly cooked rabe. Excellent coleslaw. And spicy pickled veggies just yummy. Not one to take no for a dessert answer, AJ sent small ( thank goodness) bowls of Giffords orange sherbets and vanilla ice cream over causing us to recall the Creamsicles of our youth.Tomorrow: pizza at AJâs!

High energy vibe dining with unparalleled decor. This Italian influenced, American modern cuisine is sure to stimulate your senses. Chef Samuel Kim brings his culinary mastery from farm to table, serving everything homemade. Open Dinner, Sunday Brunch & L
My wife, daughter and I had Motherâs Day dinner at Gigante Restaurant & Bar yesterday evening and it was absolutely wonderful. -Service: From the very beginning with the valet parking to the very end when picked up our coats from the hostess the service was superb.-Decor/Ambiance: The place is filled with nice vibes. I would describe the décor as a casual approach to âmodern nouveau eleganceâ (if there is such a description). A wide variety of spacious seating arrangements face onto a really striking bar, and there is a really neat private dining area to the rear. Really cool artwork is displayed throughout the restaurant and private dining areas. Unfortunately the weather was really bad so we could not take advantage of the outdoor seating with the beautiful fire pits that complement the indoor seating.-Food: In a word⦠Scrumptious! The restaurant is categorized as an âItalianâ eatery. While there were quite a few Italian dishes on the menu (I must give a shot out to the Mozzarella en Carrozzaâ¦unique and outrageously good!), there was also a nice selection of other types of selections including a couple of really great Asian Fusion type dishes (I had the Rock Shrimp Tempura as an appetizer and the Beef Tenderloin Kung Pao as an entrée (the sauce for the shrimp tempura was amazing and the stir fried vegetables in the beef tenderloin absolutely succulent). My wife is still ranting about the flavor and texture of the Beef Short Ribs.Near the end our dinner the maître de came over and chatted with us about our dining experience. When we raved about the quality of the food the maître de asked us if we would like to meet Chef Samuel Kim. This turned out to be one of the highlights of the evening. At a new establishment like Gigante I would have expected these guys to give us the stereotypic marketing speil about how great the place is. Instead, both gentlemen were extremely genuine and cordial, and it was obvious that they both are extremely passionate about their professions. For my family, their passion (and that of all of the staff at Gigante) was manifest in a truly wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back. This is a must for those in search of a great dining experience.

Dined here with a group. The restaurant was accommodating and friendly while making the booking. Willing to work with large parties (10-12 dinners). During the week a prix fixe menu and ala carte menu is offered along with several specials.I chose the prix fixe with the spring salad (excellent combination of fresh ingredients with a light dressing) and the tagliatelle. The pasta was excellent but the ragu was very ordinary and a not very complex flavor. My fellow dinners ordered the steak special or the flat iron steak. I tried one of the steak dishes and it was excellent, perfectly seasoned and cooked just a bit more than rare, as requested. Everyone who ordered the beef was pleased with the presentation and quality of the meat. For dessert I chose a lemon tart. The crust was very good, an all-American pie crust with an excellent lemon filing. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant. The restaurant is at the far end of a strip development. There is adequate parking. Location is a bit tricky if you are not from the area, but google maps for this location is excellent.

The decor is not "diner" although the menu is definitely "diner". The interior is much nicer than what you'd expect. The menu is extensive. Food is all high quality, although not necessarily gourmet - but excellent for what it is. Service fits into the same category - not fine dining but fast and reasonably attentive. Prices are a bit high, but I suppose typical of one of the richest cities/counties in the country.

The exceptional quality of food and service and a friendly, comfortable atmosphere have made Sam's a favorite for seven decades. And those continuing goals remain true today. Now, Sam's has a new look for the millennium. Peter and Karen Herrero, natives of
We arranged for a brunch at Sam's after a recent funeral. They were incredibly busy, but they still went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure our requests and needs for 40 guests were perfectly met. The food, served family style, was delicious and the wait staff was efficient and very patient! We did not feel rushed in any way; indeed we felt like family. This restaurant reminds us of what it was like living in "old" White Plains and we could not imagine going anywhere else. Perfect in every way and very, very much appreciated at a time of great sorrow.

We had an enjoyable dinner. They offered both indoor and outdoor dining. We sat outside - it was a perfect day to eat outside. They offered a very nice menu- appetizers, salads, entrees, burgers, drinks, coffee and desserts. My husband and I shared the Chat meat balls with ricotta(appetizer). They were good. For my main course I had the pan roasted chicken with fingering potatoes and brussel sprouts - the chicken was very flavorful. My husband had the chicken parmigiani with potatoes- very generous serving and very tasty. Our friends ordered the Grilled Salmon and Branzino. We all enjoyed our food. For dessert my husband and I shared flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream- very good. Other choices for dessert included ice cream, cheesecake, berries and sauce. Our service was ok but it could have been better.

After a hectic weekend running around and too many things to do, this is a great place to come, enjoy a drink and have a great meal with family or friends. We had 2 prix frize dinners and 2 entrees, all were excellent. We ordered the shrimp skewers, Caesar salad, meatballs, salmon, risotto, baked chicken, and hangar steak. We ended with a brownie and bread pudding. The prices are reasonable, the food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. The entrees were slightly slow to arrive but there was a large party happening at the same time which probably explains why. We will go back! Thanks for a happy end to the weekend! We are so happy to hear that you found us very accommodating . Our highest priority is to make sure your experience is as comfortable and delicious. We are looking forward to your next visit.Best,Linda

Ok what does the meaning of medium mean to you. I ordered 2 burgers with Swiss medium for take out along with freedom fries and wings, the burgers were rare the freedom fries did not include what we ordered. We had given them plenty of time to get our food ready and it was wrong. I have not been here for awhile but was not happy with the service. Letâs hoe things get better
