I took my wife and another couple out to diner here and I was impressed. Between the outstanding service and the great serversit was a wonderful evening. The food was top of the line but you pay for what you get, the bill matched the quality not cheapat all. It was worth it and I have gone back many times

We shared lots of flavors with our friends that night - appetizers, main courses and desserts! Everything we ordered was very well prepared, generous portions and not unreasonably priced. Our friends come there on a regular basis and always enjoy it and introduced it to us recently. Our waiter was excellent and made some great suggestions for us including changes to the dishes on the menu to make our dining experience even better.

If your staying at Indigo Long Island go no further than down the hall to Bistro 72 Hotel Bar and Restaurant. They offer an all inclusive menu as well as a regular menu. The pork chop is an excellent choice as well as their filet. Happy Hour is from 5-7 with a piano player adding a nice touch to the dinner atmosphere.Hello Ken B,Thank you for visiting us at Bistro 72! We are glad you enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Check us out this spring/summer, we have our outdoor patio open then. Our live musicians perform under the summer sky, it is the perfect setting for enjoying a nice bottle of wine and one of our delicious entrees. Thanks again, we look forward to your next visit!Sincerely,Cristen Dattoli

Diggers is your usual pub restaurant. Nice casual atmosphere and good food. We ordered baked clams for an appetizer. The clams were good but they were served in an aluminum shell. I would have preferred a real clam shell. Our entrees were the tuna salad and fish and chips. The fish and chips were good but greasy...the grease was dripping when I picked up the fish..they should have drained the fat from the fish before placing it on the dish. Both were good and the fries were good and temperature hot. We would visit this restaurant again. My only complaint was after the waitress gave us the check, she never returned to take my credit card, so I gave it to another waitress. This is the second restaurant in this area where the waitress doesn't return to run the credit card through for payment. The other restaurant is Perabell (see my review for that restaurant) just across the street from Diggers. Other than that everything was good.

This diner was established in 1932 and is in the heart of downtown Main Street. Currently serving breakfast and lunch daily. Dinner Friday and Saturday nights. Home style cooking at reasonable prices.
Tucked away on Main Street in downtown Riverhead youâll find this local establishment. A trifold menu lists a variety of omelettes, burgers, sandwiches and more than a couple local specials that feature Polish sausage, kielbasa. Small tables create an intimate atmosphere. The restaurant is actually a small trailer converted to a diner. Locals prefer this to fancy settings or larger accommodations. If youâre in search of basic good food you need look no further. Service is typical of small towns.

Located in the heart of North Fork Wine Country, the Modern Snack Bar has been the place to go for Great Home Cooking since 1950. Featuring Roast LI Duck, Sauerbraten, Prime Rib, Fresh Flounder, Soft Shell Crabs, and cool Lobster Salad. Enjoy Draft Beer,
Been here lotsa times with family and usually everything is delicious. I had stuffed flounder, but this time the stuffing tasted off and the fiah was very bland. Also it is a pet peeve of mine when restaurants serve cold bread with cold butter. The service was great though and I will go back.

TWEED'S combines true local flavor with sophisticated cuisine in an atmosphere of comfort, warmth, courtesy and welcoming familiarity. The award winning staff and this beautiful establishment are proud to be the historical centerpiece of Riverhead's Main
We went in on Mother's Day afternoon around 3:00pm. I thought we would have no problem getting a table at such an inbetween meal time. The place was packed. A waitress spent some time looking at the reservations and looking at us. She could tell we were just in for a quick bite while doing our regular Sunday shopping. We told her we would be fast and she gladly sat us. We shared a tuna salad that was amazing. The tuna was fresh and cooked (seared) perfectly. For our main we each had Bison burgers and both agreed they were the best burgers we have had in a long time. I cannot wait to return on our next shopping mission to Riverhead.Thank you for that wonderful review. Hope to see you soon!

Excellent Little Place - Overlooks The Peconic River - Casual
This is definately a mixed review. Good was very good, bad could have been avoided. Unique setting, very pretty on the water but seating on the deck was crowded. Hanger steak was a fantastic meal. Scallops with pasta, not so much. Scallops overcooked and the meal in general was not seasoned. Apple crisp delicious. I ordered a glass of wine with dinner and the reason I mention this is because the waitress knew I ordered wine. Like I said, close tables so a fellow diners seating side by side with us saw I ordered red wine and offered the remaining bottle of thier wine as they would not finish it and did not want to waste. kind gesture, much appreciated. Now it is time for the bill and I have an additional $10 wine fee. I ask the waitress what that is and she said I brough my own wine and it is corkage fee. I explain the situation and the fee removed but why assume and why not ask. Here attitude just switches to arrogant. Do you really think I am going to sneak in 1/4 bottle of wine. Now after dining here I read the reviews and see there are many concerns with staff. Maybe a bit of customer interaction/appreciation training is in order. BTW, one last item and I realize this is not the restaurants fault but parking, crossing the street to this place is an accident waiting to happen. Pedestrian safety with a crosswalk/something is in order.

Whether you are having just a blackened fish sandwich, or going all in with oysters on the half shell, the food is good, and the service is great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lobster rolls are a nice treat, and the chowder is quite tasty. A little over-priced, but not ridiculous. Right next to the Hyatt if you are staying in the area. If you are going on the weekends for dinner, best to get a reservation.Noworries,Glad to hear you had a great experience on your recent lunch visit. We greatly appreciate your patronage and for helping spread the word about Jerry's!Warm Regards,Jerry
