Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. We both had the Fish & Chips. The fish was Icelandic haddock, according to the cook. Very tasty and although the batter was a little on the heavy side, it still made for a good experience. The meal is served with sides of lemon juice, tarter sauce and malt vinegar. There is also a very busy ice cream counter inside as well. You have your choice of sitting at one of the three inside tables, or outside at picnic tables.Drop in for a tasty experience!

Although the Female Co-Owner was friendly enough, when queried as to whether or not they offered any discounts for Seniors, she did not hesitate to say "NO". After listening at great length to her & her Husbands financial game plan which was to only make enough money at that store so as to enable them to "Sell Out High", and move to another state, we checked out the menu offerings and the prices for same. They were indeed unrealistically priced far too high for the items offered. I said "Thanks But No Thanks", and we went elsewhere !!

The Corner Deli has been a fixture in Ogdensburg for many years. They have a limited take out menu consisting of subs, salads, pizzas and daily lunch and dinner specials that are typically a full meal such as turkey dinners, and they offer delivery service if you don't want to go out. The food is good, reasonably priced and prepared quickly.

Saturday night, 7pm, 2 tables should have been a good indication. Kitchen closed at 8pm. Our food wasn't very good...we tried 4 different menu items, the burger was passable. The place was a bit dirty & had an underlying odor. Waitresses were in t-shirts. Wouldn't recommend, won't return.

This is a great place to stop when your out and about. They seem to be open all the time. Not closed on Mondays like a lot of restaurants. The food is average, some freezer to fryer entrees. Sandwiches are good, and the menu has a good variety.Prices are low.

We went for prime rib after reviewing their website. Upon looking at the menu we discovered the menu prices much higher than the website. My husbands prime rib was small and thin. It also tasted like it had been cooked, frozen and reheated. My chicken parm was okay but the sauce had way too many herbs in it. Would not recommend nor will we return. It was also freezing in there.

My wife and I drove to âThe Placeâ from OttawA, Canada to have lunch with our American friends. In fact, this was our second visit to this pub style eatery. There is nothing fancy here but the food is decent and the lunch prices are very reasonable. If you like hearty pub fare youâll like this place. If, like us, you want something on the healthier lighter side then not so much. The main reason that we came back is that they are open on Mondays whereas many other restaurants in Ogdensburg are not. They do have a small outdoor patio in the back which looked inviting but the other couple wanted to be inside. It would be great if they would install some window shades in the front window. It was so bright we could not see the faces of the other couple who sat with their backs to the window. Truthfully, this is not my favorite place but it does get busy, even on a Monday, so it appears that it is more popular than my assessment. You might want to give it a try and decide for yourself!

The finance and I came across the bridge to partake in a hockey game (I was the observer). After working up an appetite, we decided to take a chance on this restaurant. We walked in and it was a down to earth restaurant with an opened salad bar (20 foot). We were greeted with a friendly smile and we were placed near their fish tank (yup the fish were alive ). Ordered wings for a starter and then the fiance ordered hot Turkey sandwiche & I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. All food came out on time and fresh. Tbe chicken wrap was big & it was sloppy to eat. Thank goodness for extra paper towels on the table. Would recommend this restaurant and will come back soon.

Reading the history on the back of the well oiled menu but had to quit to order. It seemed the only game in town for lunch for a couple passing thru town except for a couple of uninviting appearing bars. Town is very old and quiet and this place seems like the heart of the town and locals gathering place. It was pretty full at 2 pm on a Monday but we entered and sat ourselves at a booth. Menu's were delivered immediately by a waitress and soft drink orders taken and drinks brought over. We ordered and began the long wait for the food, For most of our wait there seemed to be only one cook and he was apparently not a multi tasker so meals came out at a glacial rate. They weren't discriminating as we watched the order and everybody seemed to do a substantial wait in turn,Food was standard diner fare, reasonably priced, filling, but nothing special. Flies were a problem but that is hard to handle in August. Bathroom was usable though not a place I would choose to read the Sunday newspaper.A piece of old Americana worth trying for the experience as it won't be here in 20 years.

This restaurant looks wonderful from the outside and being net door to the motel we were hoping for better. The restaurant has GREAT, BEAUTIFUL âcountry clubâ views, if sitting outside or a the window. There is a nice big bar area. The decor is nice. HOWEVER the food was not. There was VERY limited liquor for 1/2 price drinks. There were nice $10.00 deals each day. The onion soup had NO flavor and was topped with Swiss cheese. The salmon was good, but a very small portion. It was grilled and served with green beans. The chicken Parmesan was served with spaghetti with sauce tasted like the sauce from âspagetti Oâsâ. Our waitress was not very observant, or timely. And it was a time that was slow in the restaurant.
