Went here with my family (we were 6 people) and what a pleasurable experience. The atmosphere of this restaurant is exactly what you would want in an outdoor restaurant by the beach on the water. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. We absolutely loved it and had an amazing evening. Reservations accepted and I would highly recommend planning ahead to get a reservation to eat outside on the deck.

The lobster night special was a good deal and well done. The mashed potatoes were good and the corn was sweet. Not really know for their food, but you should try this special. Really, Houser's is a rocking bar at night - usually packed shoulder to shoulder with folks having fun! I love this place.

Great hometown bar and restaurant. Serving consistently delicious food & drinks for 40 years! You know itâs gonna be good at The Albatross! And remember Donât Swing the Lights!
Our 2nd time Here, my First review. Came here with all my Kids and Granddaughter on Fathers Day, Food was ok but service was slow, I know it was Fathers Day but it was longer than Normal. We went Saturday night 9/9/17 party of 6, we sat down at 630, it was starting to get busy. We sat down and we were greeted promptly by our server, it went down hill from there! Our server was not at all friendly and seemed distracted! Everyone has a bad day, I get it, however, our main courses came out at different times and there was No apology from anyone, no attention to customer service, never asked us for refills on our drinks and just felt like we didn't get the service we expected. The Food was Ok, I had the Shrimp Bisque that was pretty good and went with the shrimp and Garlic dish Over linguine, the pasta was over cooked. My wife had the burrito and it was not that good. One other couple had the ribs and it was covered with fried onions which is not mentioned on the menu, he hates onions, ribs were pretty good. Didn't stay for dessert, Very loud inside, there is outside seating with Veiw of Boardwalk, overall we were disappointed and probably will not return. To many choices at nearby restaurants.

We had the chicken parm and seafood marinara, which were both good. We didnât have the wings, but they smelled so good we wished we had. The service was very polite and pretty good. The place is a pretty typical seaside indoor/outdoor Long Island restaurant. The menu was pretty specific so if you get a chance look at the menu before you go and check out the menu of the Kismet Inn next door to see which is more suitable for you

Bayside dining,, huge portions of fresh seafood and seriously the best baskets of corn bread ever. Nice vibe and great meal.

We stopped in here to have a quick snack. We saw everyone was eating the oysters and the clams so we ordered and they were delicious. You could tell they were fresh because they were nice and salty. The vinegar sauce that came with the oysters was very tasty. We also tried the mahi mahi tacos and it was really good.

The food, view, and eclectic service made this sunset dinner well worth while. The fare is pub/seafood and all of the dishes were prepared well. One of use has some severe dietary restrictions and she was taken care of with little fuss.

We had a late lunch/early dinner here recently. It was relatively packed and the view was beautiful. Unfortunately, my food was less than ordinary. I ordered a vegetarian portobello panini. I asked our server what was in the panini. She listed a litany of vegetables. First of all, most paniniâs are grilled or toasted. This wasnât. There wasnât a portobello mushroom in the Portobello panini (there were small mushrooms). There was no flavoring on the bread. The panini consisted of raw zucchini, small mushrooms, and some raw spinach (possibly arugula mixed in). When I brought it to the attention of our server, to her credit, the manager came over. What she told me was that the list of vegetables was a suggestion, but itâs up to the chef!!! (If the name of the dish had portobello in it, I would at least expect portobello!!). One of the servers added water and spilled it all over. Lastly, the sink was broken in the womenâs room when we visited, making me question how the employees washed their hands that day. Also, instead of changing prices, they add 3% to your bill to cover the increase in minimum wage (to be fair, we found this to be the case in other restaurants as well).

This is a place you can't go wrong going at any time of the day and night. They have it all!!! Must try the lobster roll and the rocket fuel drink. Great vibe, music and attentive staff! I go to Fire Island couple of a times a year and pay a visit to CJ's every single time. You should too!

First of all Iâm not one to shop for a low cost dinner. Iâll happily pay for a great meal. And I also understand Island dining will be expensive. That said, the dinner here was just average and the prices are ridiculously high. Throw in the $120 water taxi from Dunewood for the six of us and we could have had a great meal with a really nice bottle of wine on the mainland. Service was just OK. Two of the beer choices were out and an entree wasnât being offered. We spent the rest of our week on the island grilling steaks, chicken, making pasta and drinking great wines. We
