Don't go here. The bartender with long hair is very arrogant. We left before we even got served. We had a great time across the street at The Deck. There are plenty option on Main St. that would welcome your business. I do not advise this place.

Wife and I stopped for dinner on a Thursday night. Place was buy with what looked like locals and tourists but we were seated immediately.Started by both having drafts from Great Lakes Brewery which were good.My wife ordered the scallops with risotto while I had the grilled tuna with slaw; only one minor complaint, the Brussel sprouts with the tuna were RAW and not the best way to serve sprouts; otherwise both meals were very good.

We take our homemade bread, Boar's Head Meats, fresh ingredients and a spark of creativity to make the 46 sandwiches named after the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks! We also specialize in sweet and savory crepes as the only creperie in town! Eat it here
My husband and I had driven 5 hours to Lake Placid; needless to say we were tired and starving. Big Mountain Deli convenient location on Main St. ALL 46 sandwich types were listed and described on a huge blackboard. Easy to see; not so easy to decide!! I devoured my huge delicious Marcy; my husband gobbled down Seward. Very pleasant helpful staff. Cozy eating area, but I think many people may just grab something to eat on the trails.Prices very reasonable; good selection of juice, water, sodas, etc. Breakfast was over when we arrived, but I am thinking that would be equally delicious. Nice work, all! Thank you.Hey SallyanneF!Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed and awesome review! Iâm so glad to hear we could be a great refuel spot for you after the long drive! We look forward to serving you more delicious food next time youâre in town, until then, happy travels!

Recently converted to Meal Kit Deliveries offering mostly prepared foods on a subscription basis. Also some frozen and refrigerated items available to take home and heat in the new retail store located in the front of the business.
You could characterize this place as a hole in the wall. It is extremely narrow, especially with people eating at the one long table inside. However you could eat at a couple of the small tables outside (or even across the street). There were several others there when we went, which only shows how good this place is. The food was not only fresh and healthy, but delicious.

Fabulous meal with a lovely view. Everything we had was delicious, especially the halibut and lamb dishes. Serving an amuse bouche, sorbet between courses and a second dessert, which was all included with the meal, was a nice touch. We haven't seen that in years and appreciated it. Service was excellent and entrees were creative and tasty! We ordered the Pan Seared Duck & Monkfish with Risotto (chiefâs special) along with House Salad and Wild Boar Lumpia to start. All dishes were nicely presented, appropriately portioned and really yummy.
