We had dinner on a Sunday night and I was surprised to see the place wasnât packed. Although we had made a reservation, we couldâve walked in and it most likely wouldnât have been an issue at all. Service was insanely quick, almost a bit too much. The meals were simple but extremely tasty. Everyone loved it. I had the classic meatballs with cream/ parmesan sauce, baby had classic tomato sauce meatballs and veggies and girlfriend had classic with yogurt/ pickled sauce and we had a great meal.

This place wasnât what I expected is was so small, it was jam packed too many people the waiting time itâs ridiculous, and the door hostess was so rude and I kind felt discriminated because the majority of the customer were white and we black Hispanic he keep telling us to wait outside and I told him why you only asking us were there are other waiting inside just like us anyway the table and the silverware wasnât clean properly because they smell like eggs the food was the only thing I liked the chicken and waffles was to die for

This little, boutique, restaurant is tucked away on a hidden corner in Glendale, across from the LIRR tracks. It's unpretensious exterior is home to fabulous gourmet cuisine. Vincent, the owner, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He graduated on May 5th of 2002 and has named his first owned restaurant, Room 55 in honor of his graduation day.The restaurant is small and interesting, a combination of contemporary Americana with a upscale flair. It only holds 35 people (and that would be pushing it). There's a small bar from which the waiter serves drinks. Scott, is a combination maître 'd, waiter, bartender and culinary adviser. He and Vincent worked together years ago and are now a team at Room 55. Scott was charming and helpful. The menu is unusual, American gourmet. There are several small plates and entrees. We enjoyed 2 different salads, the bone marrow (a specialty here which is, perhaps, the best bone marrow we've ever tasted), The harvest salad was excellent. It had pickled beets, greens, goat cheese and apple and was very tasty. The entrees were superb. The pasta with chicken was delicious, shrimp pasta dish excellent, Cornish hen and orzo delectable (ate it to the bone), and skate fish terrific. They were all served on lovely contemporary white china. We couldn't resist the desserts. A dessert tasting comes with 3 delicable tastes of: bread pudding, peanut butter bar, smores mousse, poached pear, or crème brulee. We shared a few plates. All were excellent. All dishes are cooked to order, so this is a leisurely meal. They have a nice wine and beer selection. The sangria (white or red) and prosecco were refreshing. It's worth the challenge to find the restaurant for it's outstanding food and service. The location could be better. There's no parking and street parking is very limited. Perhaps Vincent and Scott will move to another location some day. In the meantime, its a hidden gem.

We opened the Rabbithole with the intention of offering a sense of integrity to everything we do. The food is great, the pastries are made here and the bar was equally devised. for a discerning palette. We have made an effect to address details we feel ar
I picked up my son at the airport from out of town and headed here for a weekday brunch. The quaint old fashioned setting with an outdoor garden patio is the perfect spot for catching up! I had the lavender latte with my Eggs Florentine. My poached eggs were good but over cooked and not runny. The scones and pound cake were sweet and delicious.

Family restaurant on busy Austin Street in Queens (Lots of kids with parents). Atmosphere is great. Ate their famous Bison Burger and the fame is deserved. Wonderful taste and consistency and I did not feel over-stuffed, which is a plus for a man in his late 50s. Healthier than other burgers out there. Salads also delicious and Sangria was sublime. Menu layout is new and more complex than necessary. Overall, it was a satisfying experience

Saturday Night, no lobster boil. Ordered the Crab cakes. Hard to find the crab. Fried and dried.. Plate is 75% french fries. Food in NYC is expensive. Skimpy amount of crab, overly fried. Very poorly cooked. These folks were just phoning it it.The clam chowder was thin and watery. Like they were stretching it. Service was inconsistent. Best you skip this place.

DeStefanoâs was established as a tribute to the DeStefano family and all those families that made the borough of Brooklyn and the Williamsburg community a great place to live. Our goal is to pay homage to the simple values of faith, family, and friends th
First of all: GRACE!!!! youre an amazing waitress, so kind and sweet. thanks so much for your service. We dine there over the weekend before catching a play... my husband had the lambchops and i had filet. Food was delicious, didn't taste processed was cooked to perfection. I'd say the only con (not even the restaurants fault) was that the way it's set up, sound travels. we were able to hear the drunk men that were sitting across the dining room so i found myself screaming over them to have a conversation with my husband. but overall, i'd definitely come back

Went here after the Bushwick Art collective for a couple drinks and light fare. First off, the "painkiller" frozen drink was outrageously good!!! The tuna tartar was tasty and fresh. Gets a very young crowd with lots of energy. The bartender was friendly and helpful.

Stopped in here recently on a trip to Brooklyn and was not disappointed. I got the reuben and a chocolate shake. The sandwich was delicious and came with an equally good salad (could have swapped for fries but I'm at a vegan diner, should get something that's, you know, good for me). The shake was very good but not as good as some vegan chocolate shakes I've had in Philly. I believe the description said it was made with chocolate (vegan) ice cream. If so, that would explain it - the best chocolate shakes are made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. I also found the price point to be a little high but I realized I often have that reaction when I do anything involving money in NYC. It's a good spot to know about and when I was there it truly hit the spot!
Where to eat Seafood food in Glendale: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Owned and operated by the Barnes Family since 1959, London Lennieâs has evolved from a quintessential fish-nâ-chips shop to the premier seafood restaurant in Queens. London Lennieâs is notorious for the best in fresh, local seafood selected daily at the w
We went to this restaurant to celebrate our friendâs 80th birthday. Although we traveled a distance to eat here because we wanted a special dinner, our waiter seemed uninterested in serving us. A simple request for an extra glass was met with the response: itâll be a few minutes. Really? The bar was a few feet away. When we told him that we were ready to order, he told us he would take it in a few minutes. This was how the whole lunch went. My request for no garlic was not heeded and was sick all evening. He even forgot to put a candle on the birthday girlâs dessert even though he was told. This is not a cheap restaurant - the bill was about $50 per person for lunch. Unfortunately the tip was automatically added, otherwise I would have left far less. There was no need to please us when you know you are getting 18% of the bill. We will never go here again! He truly spoiled the day for everyone, but especially the birthday celebrant.
