I have visited Bun N' Cone many times over the years and there food and ice cream are always fresh. The price is reasonable and the staff is always friendly .

Consistently delicious comfort food in a welcoming atmosphere. Beautiful copper fireplace in dining room and comfortable seating in the rustic bar area. Nice menu selection along with creative cocktails, all served by friendly and attentive staff. Favorite dishes include Shrimp & Grits, Pork Belly, Salmon with Blood Orange Glaze, Mushroom Salad with Walnuts & Fennel, Coconut Shrimp, Pork Schnitzel (Monday is Schnitzel night) and Blackberry Stuffed French Toast served during Sunday Brunch. Looking forward to warm weather to enjoy outdoor seating on the deck overlooking the stream!

We where staying at the Roxbury hotel and they suggested this place. We went last night and everyoneâs food was amazing. We got the duck, filet mignon with Merlot sauce, surf and turf. The mashed potatoes and brown gravy where delicious. Our waitress was amazing and I wish I knew her name but she is from the Bronx and had us laughing the entire meal. A great dinner and would highly recommend.
Bringing cafe fare with a creative twist to our little corner of the Catskills! Utilizing time-honored family recipes with an injection of newly inspired flavors, our kitchen team spends their days making from-scratch soups and salads, creatively crafting
Stopped for a quick lunch over the weekend and we (all big city out of towners) were all impressed. Sandwiches, salads, soup and wraps were available. Order at the counter and the high quality food comes out very fast. Small dining area but the tables turn fairly quickly. Also seems to be a local take-away favorite.

While heading south through the Catskills, we happened upon this restaurant so decided to give it a try as we had been driving for awhile. You just never know about these so called âcafesâ. Maybe itâs just me, but in many cases, they seem to offer smaller sized portions as opposed to pubs or restaurants. Well, not in this case. I had a really delicious Reuben that easily satisfied my large appetite. My grandson had a huge bacon burger, he saved half of for our continued ride, and my wife had a really tasty chicken sandwich. My granddaughter had a hot dog with a side of perfectly cooked onion rings. Man were they good. Nice clean place all around. We sat on the outside deck and the co-owner, clearing tables, was very friendly to us. He said his wife did the cooking and their goal was to give plenty of good food for a reasonable price. I think theyâve achieved their goal and then some.

Kitchen & some seating located in a Caboose with separate Dining Room, Outdoor Deck & Porch seating.
I've become addicted to this quirky, cute caboose and their delicious breakfast! If you get the chance to try the homemade corned beef hash, do it! You won't be disappointed.
Colonial Inn should be listed as two establishments, since reviews by diners and overnighters are really unrelated to each other. This is a review of the restaurant. Owner Steve Witte serves only one meal a week, the long running Saturday dinner buffet. Starting at 5 PM, a large and excellent array of Steve-cooked foods is brought out. There are ample choices for both carnivores and vegetarians, plus all the deserts. The afternoon we were there, those included 5 kinds of pie, the first bread pudding (with apricot compote, no less) I ever loved, and ice cream. All 4 of us were completely enthralled with the food and atmosphere (we chose the Inn more or less at random). Steve is congenial and generous, and has filled the lobby, bar, and walls with an eclectic mix of taxidermy, antiques, and art pieces. For $16 all you can eat, excluding drinks, you should give it a try and judge for yourself. Although we live on the other side of the Catskills, Colonial Inn will surely be our go-to culinary destination for out of town guests.

Farm to table goodness in the beauty of the Catskills, featuring a menu that changes daily with the local farms' offerings. Killer cocktails. Nightly bonfire.
We're NYC restaurant snobs who chuckled when we were invited to dinner at the Peekamooose. We immediately thought: over cooked burgers, tasteless french fries, deep-fried vegetables. What a surprise: the truffle risotto was done exceptionally. The trout was cooked beautifully. The short ribs were a big hit with our party! The wines were well matched. And, the service was great What a find. We finished up by roasting marshmallows over a fire. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would come back if we're in the area again. Thanks GlobeTrotter...!As former NYC restaurant snobs, we appreciate your discerning review. We are so proud of our culinary and service teams, our farmers, and our little place in this neck of the woods. We would relish the opportunity to have you around our table again.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. You made our day!

Woodfired Pizza & Wood Grill Burgers & Chicken Sandwiches Also Shrimp and Steamed Clams
Everything at Oakleyâs was delicious! The atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming and all smiles. The owner walks around to make sure his customers are happy with the food and the service. Overall had a wonderful experience and definitely will be back!! Definitely recommend to anyone to stop in and grab a bite!
Local restaurant, convenience, and gas station. Friendly owner. Open long hours.
I drive past Sam's everyday - sometimes twice, and my family and I stop in for food, ice cream bars, fuel, milk, etc., etc., etc. When my father was too old to get in and out of his truck easily, they would comer out to the gas pump, pump his gas for him, ask him which paper he wanted, and then graciously and cheerfully get it for him. Best people ever!
