Operated for 20 years as a Public Aquarium, the Roberts family has entirely redone the interior of their building to accommodate the dining public. Dinner, Children's menu and Pub fare available along with a full bar. 10 craft beers on tap. With 11 large
Went on a Friday evening for a fish fry. The place was about 1/3 capacity which should have alerted us. The place is clean with near fish tanks wrapping around the interior. The clam chowder was homemade but tasteless. The haddock fish fry was by far the worst Iâve ever had. I still cannot understand how any cook could screw it up so badly. It was like a sponge that had been soaked in warm oil and the middle was mushy and not cooked through. My partner had a Mexican loaded fries plate which was equally unappealing. We paid for half the meal and left never to return. How any owner could allow food like this to come out of a kitchen is beyond explanation. We really did want to like this place and support a local establishment but they did everything possible to ensure we never return.

Really wanted to like it. Good location and seemed decent. Hostess was very friendly as was our server. Food was very mediocre. We all ordered Italian. One spaghetti parm, on manicotti with meatballs and one kids spaghetti with meatball. Our starter salads were old school consisting mostly of iceberg. One bright spot was the Thousand Island dressing. Our meals were blah; Wondering if they were made from frozen and not fresh. The free rollls were the kind you see stuck together in a package in the supermarket . Fresh bread would have been much better! For the price I would not go back.

I believe this is/was also Colemanâs Smokehouse but the 2 places combined (???). Anyway.. We stopped on a Saturday night around 6:30 and got right in. Typical touristy spot but that is what you get on the main drag of Alexandria Bay. Nice view to watch the boats pull in and take off. The place didnât seem to be overly busy and there were plenty of servers. Our server, while very friendly, gave us slow service. Between the five of us we ordered the ribs, pulled pork flatbread, little neck clams, Cajun pasta, and a shepherds pie. Honestly I donât understand the negative reviews because all of the meals were pretty darn good. The portions were huge and we got a second meal out of it the next day. The barbecue is authentic. For those that complain about the mustard sauce on the barbecue, itâs a Carolina style sauce. Heavy on the mustard and vinegar. I thought it was good. I would go back.

We are several breakfasts here over the Memorial Day. Each meal was delicious from omelettes to pancakes to the fresh cooked oatmeal. Service was great. They only accept cash which required our checking our supply before we went there. Enjou!!

Windows on the Bay provides you with a casual dining atmosphere with water views on three sides, and magnificent Boldt Castle as a backdrop. In season, choose to eat inside in air conditioned comfort or outside on our Channnelview Deck, where you can enjo
My wife and I were looking for something special for our 50th Anniversary Dinner, and we certainly found it. We had a perfect view with great service and the best Prime Rib dinner I think I have ever had.

It has 9 Yelp reviews. We ate there on Wed this week.
Forget trying to get served after 11pm if over 25 years old!!! Young blonde girl, threw menus at us, took drink order. 15 mins later never came back, was too worried about her drunk friends, I guess,to take our order . Random guy walking around without shoes or socks, but guess ok in Alex Bay. Needless to say, never ordered food, or got our drinks!!! Walked out never to return!!! Think management really needs to monitor their employees after 11!!! And we were recommended to go to this establishment by our resort hotel employee!!! Unbelievable for a vacation destination!!!

Summer is for pleasure, for sunsets on terraces, shared meals on wooden tables, fresh produce, grilled foods, and tinkling drinks. The summer is for The Kitchen, Alexandria Bayâs newest entry to our regionâs late-blooming but much appreciated farm-to-tabl
I'll get right to the point. The good, very good, the homemade pasta dishes and atmosphere. The bad, very bad, the service. You will have to decide if the quality of the food, served(ugh!) in a very charming and cozy rear patio, or what seems like an old farmhouse equally charming interior setting. During my wife and myself's recent visit we picked The Kitchen because of the reviews of the food, farm fresh to table with many locally sourced seasonal products. Reservations are recommended either by Open Table, or by text. No phone calls answered. On a beautiful very warm July evening, we opted to be seated on the patio. Its a little odd that you walk back out the entrance door and through a side parking lot to be lead to your seat. On a side note, while we were there we noticed several patrons go up to a patio side door, my guess looking for the restroom only to be rerouted back around through the main entrance again. After several moments we were greeted by a young fellow who would be our server of the night. We ordered two cocktails, a lemon drop martini for my wife, and their featured margarita for myself. Patiently we wait for our drinks. And waited. Twice our server stopped by to tell us they were coming, the second time leaving a whole bottle of water on our table. We waited some more. Then, after 35 minutes our entrees arrived! Before our before dinner cocktails, before our bottle of Pinot Noir, we ordered for our meals, before salt and pepper, before wine glasses. Throughout the long delay, the server kept telling us he is going to take care of us, don't worry! We canceled the cocktails and somewhat demanded our bottle of wine, Even then we were told the drinks are ready and he'll bring them right out!The food, my wife ordered scallops at $21 and I ordered a pasta special that featured homemade wide noodle pasta with a chicken ragu and vegtables. It wasThank you.

Thank you for a wonderful Summer 2019! Riley's will be back with more food, more fun, and more great service, May 2020!
We have found that most of the Alex Bay restaurants have largely the same menu. This was the case here. The restaurant was clean, pleasant, with good and friendly service. Our server, Marcia, went out of her way to be helpful with suggestions and little extras. The food was so-so, and I thought it was overpriced for what it was. The walleye bites were, however, very good and prepared well (not over cooked.). I doubt we will return, as the quality of the food vs cost didnât seem worth it to us.

3rd generation family owned and operated restaurant. Built in 1962 by Frank and Concetta Cavallario, grandparents of current owner.
We had dinner here last week while on vacation. The service was great and food good. But the lighting was terrible and set an unpleasant mood for dining. Think of eating in an airport boarding area. the light was harsh and bright, not the preferred soft. Our waitress told the owner we'd like to discuss with him, but he ignored us and continued chatting at another table. Not a good customer experience. My apologies sir, as we do try to get everything g perfect for everyone that just simply is impossible. You think itâs too bright and the guy next to you is using the flashlight on his phone to try and see the menu because he thinks itâs too dark. We work very hard to accommodate all of our guests and as long as we are doing that with our service and our food that is what is most important to us. As for speaking g with you at your table, as you could see I was speaking with another table at that time and you were next but the lighting must have been hurting your eyes so bad that you left before I had a chance to get to you.

Gourmet coffee shop with full breakfast and pastries, Breakfast served till 2pm on weekends until July then everyday till 2pm and gourmet Coffees till 8-9 pm with assorted pastries
We stopped in for breakfast after having read the reviews. The place is tiny, which only adds to my appreciation of the place. The coffee was great! The pancakes were rather fluffy -they add something I couldnât put my finger on but they were greatâin fact everything we had was fantastic. Iâd recommend to anyone. This is a real family business.
