Steamers Bar and Grill is situated at 1 Marine Drive, Wollongong, which holds one of the most stunning views of City Beach and Wollongong lighthouse. The restaurant was inspired by the history of the precinct; when the colony of the Illawarra was first se
Food is excellent and fresh. Steamed vegetables are very tasty. I had a scotch filet and it was delicious. The decor is really nice and the location near the sea is perfect. I recommend this place Thanks for the love 34christianel!

Stylish, casual dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Overlooking the Wollongong Harbour its the perfect spot for that special occasion, business meeting our casual get together.
My wife & I stopped at the Bombora Seafood Restaurant in Wollongong (2 Endeavour Drive, Wollongong Harbour NSW ) for lunch today (29 Aug 19) - what a great place! We had the âCaramelised Garlic Loafâ as a starter and we both agreed that it was far and away the best garlic bread we have ever had - it was awesome. This was followed by the "Bombora Basket" which has a fine selection of seafood - and was also delicious. The wife and I shared the dishes and we were both full when we finished. The staff were friendly & helpful, the service was quick & the food was great - I would recommend this place to anyone. If youâre in Wollongong NSW, do yourself a favour and stop in, you wonât be disappointed.

Our recent short holiday fell over my partner's birthday. We had decided to just do a wander-around Wollongong as our trip. For the birthday dinner, after reviewing menus and costs for a couple of weeks before the trip, we chose Level One based on options and cost. We were not disappointed! We had the hot Seafood Platter which perfectly fed two of us. The variety on the platter was perfect ... and it came with a 'side' of battered fish and chips (which in an of itself was delicious!). We topped the night off with deconstructed apple pie, which we also shared. My partner was also thrilled that they served Pure Blonde beer, which many places don't. The view was spectacular and the service available, but non-intrusive. All in all -- will definitely go back next time we are in Wollongong -- even if there is no special occasion to justify it!

Beach facing restaurant with amazing views of Northbeach. Open 7 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bookings recommended for the weekends. Note: There are two seatings on Friday and Saturday night for dinner, 1. 5.30pm to 7.30pm 2. 7.45pm to 9.45pm
What a beautiful venue. Excellent service - the staff were attentive, polite, helpful and always there. A good crowd for lunch. Excellent atmosphere. The food was top shelf. Great little wine list to go with the food. We had prawns, oysters, bugs, mussels, crab and fish. Fresh and superb! The view over North Wollongong beach sets the whole experience off! Wonderful lunch!

Firstly I found it difficult to choose from the menu as everything sounded amazing! We were served a complimentary appetizer which was a lovely touch. Zuchinni flowers for entree- best ive ever had! I had the blue swimmer tortellini for main and rosemary infused Pana cotta for dessert. All sooo tasty and beautifully presented. I tried my friends pork belly which was perfect! Complimentary liquors to finish. Really good wine by the glass with an excellent selection. Service fantastic. We will be regulars!

Dry,lifeless, overcooked, tasteless, way too much thick batter..... we had a large family pack and of the chips, fish, seafood sticks, calamari rings and none tasted good. It was all freshly cooked... but the base ingredients must have been precooked. Nothing was soggy and full of oil... but as described above.. it was dissapointing. Our son who is a junk food king could barely eat anything.

This family run take away shop is almost a time warp. The chips still come wrapped in paper not in a little cup. The burgers are tasty and massive and they have all the usual things you would expect and a corner take away.

We called in for a quick snack and found the service to be wonderful. We ordered the natural oysters, which were fresh and sweet and came with a nice, light sauce that went perfectly. We also ardered the sashimi tasting plate for two, which was amazing! A good combination of textures and flavours that made me wish we had ordered one each.

Ordered seafood platter for 3. Scallops were way overcooked and tough, very unpleasant to eat so we left them. Bbq octopus also very tough. Lobster was nicely cooked but drowning in mornay sauce so you could barely taste the lobster. Salt & pepper calamari, kilpatrick oysters and moreton bay bugs were delicious. Lovely service. Thanks for your feedback, overcooked seafood and too much sauce is never pleasant. Weâve passed on your message to the kitchen to see what went wrong. Donât forget, our chefs are always happy to hear from you during your meal, so they can fix any problems on the spot and make sure you leave happy. We hope you give us another try soon.
