Things to do in Wagga Wagga
There was no paper of any kind in the bathroom. Nothing. Very sticky floors everywhere. Spoke to staff about it after waiting for them to finish their conversation then was abused by the manager. She must have done a management course that suggested smiling when youâre telling someone off and humiliating them in front of their family. Itâs very confusing. She was also rude to the other staff members when we ordered. I spoke to someone at Que Bar the next week who said they were on their third cleaner in six weeks. He completely blamed the cleaner for the state of the place and didnât think the manager should have checked it before opening. He offered a free meal but thatâs not enough to entice us back. Shame, the cheesy chilli fries are delicious. We were a table of 10 on a Sunday a week before Christmas and there was only one other table of 2 when we were there. In contrast, the Thirsty Crow was completely full when we went for a beer after lunch.

The food at this restaurant is really quite good, good size portions of freshly prepared meals. The pizza was especially nice. The service unfortunately needs some work. The staff need to smile and listen to guests. Improve the service to compliment the well prepared meals.

Amateurish presentation - had toast, poached egg and avo. Toast presented as still white, avocado was not fresh as it had multiple dark bits which I picked out, egg had some uncooked eggwhite. A bit on the pricier side, but well worth every dollar.Great selection of rather exotic pizzas - try the Wagyu with hoisin sauce or the Moroccan lamb. The lamb ribs available as a side are also delicious.

This small restaurant is located behind a service station and chicken fast food outlet but don't let that fool you. It specialises in pizza with a large range of basic and gourmet pizzas, and they are very good and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and service is good. Most people order take away but I did eat in, mainly to get a break from my motel, and whilst it is fairly basic the premises are clean and you can watch some to while you wait for and enjoy your dinner. They also serve pasta and a very nice garlic bread. I would have liked a beer or wine with my dinner but they are waiting for their alcohol licence to come through so I had to settle for a soft drink. Next time I'll do take away. Bear in mind it is not open on a Monday. It is very good however and well worth a visit in Wagga.

This has got to be of the best pubs we have eaten at in quite a while. The hot rocks scotch fillet was delicious. Have had a few of these at other places but this was probably the best. It was a very nice piece of decent sized meat. The salad and chips were terrific also. Good friendly service, reasonably priced drinks equals a must visit when in Wagga Wagga.

Thirsty Crow is a family owned, fiercely independent brewpub from Wagga Wagga, the place of many crows. Thirsty Crow is a must-experience destination for lovers of craft beer and cider, amazing wine and local artisan food. It's also the working site of th
Got here at 745 pm in a Thursday night. It was half full. Grabbed a menu, decided then went to the counter to order food and drinks Rather abruptly told by the waitress they were sold out of steak. Ok second choice was the salmon - guess what? Sold out of salmon too. So not left with a lot of choice if you donât like pizza. So we left and had a great Thai dinner nearby. Is there a shortage of fish and cows in this country that we donât know about? How could a popular restaurant sell out of beef and fish by 745pmReminiscent of queuing for bread in Soviet Russia in the 1980âs?? If youâre not first in theyâre gonna run out.And we thought the two staff members we spoke to weâre rude and in the wrong profession (not suited to the service industry) Hey Johnboy3bw, Can you email [email protected] so we can hear more about who you may have spoken to. In saying that, sometimes we do run out of various items - because we don't rely on food out of the freezer and base it on par levels. Regardless - apologies we couldn't get you your 1st and 2nd options. And we totally agree that Thaigga (not too far from us) is a fantastic dining option. Cheers Thirsty
