With one of the best views on the Central Coast Margarita Daze is laid back beach bar that offers a casual dining experience. Great for large groups and families.

Mid-week lunch at the Tavern with four other friends.Large venue, plenty of options in regard to seating.A pleasant warm afternoon so we chose to sit outside. The menu consisted of a wide choice of dishes, reasonable pricing, a number of daily blackboard specials ($15 per meal).A variety of meals ordered, no-one was disappointed with their serving.Wine, beer, other liquid refreshments all as per what one would expect in such an establishment.Service was more than acceptable.Overall, an enjoyable afternoon. Good food, great weather, shared with special friends. Will return.

A few of us decided to take a night off cooking to try out the Wednesday night â10 for $10.00â meals. Judging by the number of people there when we arrived, it looked promisingly popular. Itâs a bistro so expect to queue to order, and collect your own cutlery etc as the tables arenât set. Although busy we didnât have long to wait for our meals to be brought out, and the food verdicts from our group were: ticks for the grilled chicken breast with bacon & mushroom sauce (and worth paying $3 extra for mash & veg rather than chips & salad), the steak diane was apparently yum, the veal & chicken schnitzels were good but could have been improved with a sauce, the salt & pepper calamari was too salty, the chicken & bacon fettuccine was âokay for the priceâ but wouldnât get it again. The pizzas cooking in the wood-fired oven smelled great, so next time weâll be trying the pizza choices on the â10 for $10â menu. Donât go on specials night if youâre looking for a quiet dinner, but for a cheap get-together with friends during the week... it suited us.

Attended the book launch for Marcel Thompson hare and it was such a great vibe. Great cocktails, happy, friendly and fun staff (thank you Jane!) It was catered so I canât comment on their menu but the food offered was very good. A little lite on the gluten free options but that was for my friend not me so I was good! Lol The place looks good and feels great.

The oldest pub on the central coast, with the coldest beer!
We dropped in for a drink and ended up staying for lunch around the back at Pelicans Restaurant. A lovely old style pub that hasn't been modernised. Seating inside or outside and Happy Hours at lunchtime and after work 7 days a week. Plenty of locals enjoying a beer or 3. Across the road from the Fisherman's Wharf area it is a local and tourist hub so be prepared to hunt for a car park.

Four work friends spent an hour at Pelicans Restaurant at Woy Woy pub on Saturday, with dining room opening at 12 noon, a queue to enter was quite long. We ventured into the public bar while waiting, but it was not for us, very much a very working mans pub.Lunch of a Caesar salad, shared seafood platter and fish and chips were all very good and reasonably priced. Limited wine choices in Bistro bar, and overlooking parking area was not ideal, but you get what you pay for. Staff friendly, parking nearby, quick service with high chairs available and clean modern restrooms.
