My husband used to come to this restaurant when he was a student, on his way home from school, and it is still popular with students, backpackers and anyone else who rates food on their calorie/ cent/ flavour count! The food came quickly, the menu had all the favorites, and you can eat in or take away. If you head out of the carpark and turn left your car or body will be pointing in the direction of the Mighty Manning, where you can sit and watch the water go by. I had to feed my sons quickly and cheaply the day we went, and they described the springies as meaty, flavoursome and delicious!

We are located in Club West, Taree ,on the mid north coast of NSW . We have something for everyones tastes and Budget from the Traditional Roast Dinner and Fish and Chips to the more exotic Asian Dishes like our Famous BBQ Duck Noodles or The Combination
They have a pretty reasonable selection of Asian meals that are well prepared and very tasty. I felt like a steak and salad which was OK. I was annoyed a couldn't get a vinaigrette dressing for the salad. The only dressing was a horrible looking herded mayonnaise. Service was quick and price was low. Thanks for your review Foodie2430 . We do offer a choice of Salad dressings but sometimes people take them back to their table and forget to bring them back . We do get many good comments about our Mustard Seed Dressing so I suggest you try it on your next visit . Thanks for your custom .

We were impressed with the food which was hot, fresh and yummy. Plenty of it and also a good salad and fruit bar. The sweets were great with a fantastic pavlova, chocolate cake, jellies and other tempting delights. We ordered a pot of Chinese tea which we did not know at the time was 'bottomless'Very happy to have wandered in here for dinner having eaten in various places in Taree on previous visits and not being terribly impressed by any of them. Thank you to the lovely girls who served us and made I our visit enjoyable!

We went there with friends not realising it was a Specials Night. The food was heaped up on the plate. It was very inexpensive, good tasting, and well-cooked. We were all very happy. Plenty of room for couples or families or groups. Drink prices were normal at the bar. Good cold beer. Enjoyed it very much.
What to do and see in Taree, Australia: The Best Places and Tips

9 months since our last visit and nothing has changed. 100 years ago Chinese restaurants in country Australia made up some recipes to suit the clients of the day who were definitely not gourmet travelers. In the Australian cities almost every Chinese restaurant has updated their menu to be real Chinese Food and you can see that by observing the number of Asian diners eating. Unfortunately many Chinese Restaurants have failed to catch up they are ssstuck in the past There were about 14 diners in a place that can seat at least 100. Dare I say ALL the diners were over 65.years old. Modernise the food to Fresh Modern Chinese and you will fill the place!

Average at best.I had dinner here based on reviews. Overall the food was poor to average.Entree was short soup...tasty broth...but wontons undercooked.I ordered the sweet and sour special combination for main. Sweet and sour pork with fried rice...2 spring rolls and 1 prawn toast. Good value at $15...but that s where it stops.Spring rolls tasted like Coles frozen ones. The prawn toast was either overcooked or it had been recoiled from the previous day. The sweet and sour pork...whilst lacking vegetables...to their credit..I have never seen so many pieces of pork in similar dishes. The fried rice...as other reviews have mentioned...I really think it was leftovers reheated. It was gluggy, overcooked, tasteless and brown.Overall a very disappointing experience...I would be happy to pay more for a better dinner....sadly this was far from it.Give it a big miss.

For a small town l like Taree, did not expect great Asian/Korean restaurant like Twohans. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and well presented. The spicy noodle soup was a standout. The only negative will be the portion size, a little more noodles in the noodle soup and little more rice in the bibimbap would have made it perfect. Otherwise you will have to order extra dishes to fill you up.
