We had Yum Cha for lunch, and it was absolutely superb, as per usual. The Dim Sims and other dumplings, are made fresh on the premises. The food is fantastic, but the stand out items are the Lobster, Crab and the Pork neck.We have eaten here on many occasions, and the food and service has been constantly superb and attentive.Highly recommended.

Over the years, think we have all done a mass swing from Chinese to Thai food. Maybe its due to the over flavouring of Chinese food, or perhaps the typical set menus that never seem to change. Passing through this area, I checked trusty Trip Adviser to find a rated Chinese restaurant. I found this place and was rated fairly high 5*. Well, I can assure you, we were not disappointed. You wouldn't think Blacktown would hide this treasure. I'll go through the tick points for me ; 1- Easy to find. 2- Plenty of parking 3- Well lit inside 4- (big one) CLEAN inside and modern. 5- Great menu with the standard Chinese faithfuls, but a full page on Chef's specials. 6- Some alternates, such as Laksa, noodles, etc. 7- Well priced (with couple of drinks and 2 adults and 2 teenagers the total bill was $89 wow....If your a snob and think Blacktown is too low brow, then you will miss out. Stick with your mundane white collar area and miss one of the best tasting Chinese I've had for a long, long time! TRY THE NASI GOERING

Well... I made the mistake of reading reviews from another site, where this restaurant was highly rated. Never again. I will stick with Tripadvisor to advise me the best places to eat. Yes, it was cheap. Yes, it was convenient because we were in Blacktown and yes the guy serving us was polite and accommodating. Food was average and I have now ticked this box so wont be returning.
Cheap food here, there lunch specials include a spring roll for $7 which is a bargain! Nowhere are you going to get it that cheap! It's been a while since I've been here but this time I didn't enjoy my meal! It just tastes strange! It's not to the same quality as other places Ambience wise it has a old feel to it but at the same time looks clean I doubt I will be back
I love the Eastern Palace Yum Cha in Sydney's Chinatown! Everytime I visit Sydney I make sure to include a visit to indulge in the fantastic yum cha on offer. Service is prompt and the food is always hot. There is a great ordering system in place too where you receive a card with every item on the menu and you can simply note how many of each dish you want and at what stage of the meal you want it served. Make sure you don't miss out on having GREAT yum cha here, I make sure I don't! :)
We have been here a few times (my husband used to live in the area before we were married) and we really enjoyed every meal we had there (usually chow mein, satay, blackbean, chicken & vegetable, fried rice, long & short soup). The people who own the place are lovely too. Good if you are after a nice meal that will not set you back a lot of money.

My family and i had dinner at the Lyton Chinese Restaurant on someone's recommendation and we were not disappointed. We all ordered our usual dishes, and they were all PERFECTO!!! We had Satay Chicken, Mongolian Lamb, Salt & Pepper Squid, Lemon Chicken and Chicken Chow Mien and they were all great. Perfect balance of flavours at your typical Chinese restaurant. What stood out for us all was how fresh the food was. Hosts were funny and accommodating as wellI cannot understand ANY negative feedback for this place. If i had anything to say I would say the Satay had a little too much Onions in it, but apart from that, all the dishes were perfect.I highly recommend this place and its now my favourite Chinese restaurant

Well I used t get my Chinese food from Bow's in Main street Blacktown but no more. I have finally found a better Chinese food place in New Wan Wah Chinese on Reservoir Road Blacktown. They have been there for years but i have only discovered them. The food is amazing from the Satay Chicken, to the Mongolian Beef, to the honey Chicken etc, etc etc. They also do an amazing LARGE Spring Roll which is to die for. Yes its oily, smelly and everything else a good Chinese takeaway food should be.I highly recommend New Wan Wah for the best Chinese food in Blacktown
