This was a great find! Food was delicious and the service was excellent. The waitress was very accommodating for me being vegan, offering to alter dishes & making suggestions. Service was fast. My mum enjoyed her pork spring rolls andmain. Overall highly recommended when in Moree!

The Artesian Gardens Restaurant allows you to sample excellent meals based on local produce in a picturesque setting, looking over the creek that runs behind the property. The Restaurant is open everyday for breakfast between 7am and 9.00am, and for dinner
We stayed at the motel to which this restaurant is attached. The motel itself was reasonably priced but the prices in the restaurant were high for a country motel - $23.50 for two sausages and mashed potato and peas and $34.50 for a piece of steak. We compared the prices for similar dishes at restaurants along the Gold Coast and the only restaurant that was more expensive was a 5 star hotel and even then it was only a few dollars more. The wine was also quite expensive for what was on offer. For example, a bottle of wine that we had purchased at a restaurant in the city a week earlier for $26 was priced at $42. The food itself was tasty but nothing special. The young waitresses appeared inexperienced and stood talking to each other rather than moving around the restaurant checking that everything was going well.We are sorry you had this experience. We have taken your feed back on board.

Fresh to order sushi and rice paper rolls. Kids loved. We loved. The sauce with the rice paper rolls is delicious and has a great chilli kick.

I had just been with family in the white sand beach-equipped Philippines where at many restaurants one is addressed as 'Sir' followed by one's first name and the staff cannot do enough to help you.My expectations in Australia were different. We're not good at hospitality. How wrong I was.Waitress Wendy, a lady in her late 50s, was terrific.I arrived alone and when ordering a beer, was asked whether I'd like it in the 'stubbie' (glass bottle) or poured into a glass. Then she brought me the 'Daily Telegraph' newspaper to read, noting I was alone. The food - combination rice with pork sweet'n'sour and three mini spring rolls - was far too much for one person but good. I would have preferred a cheaper, smaller serve but I understand that restaurants must make a profit. The beer and it meant a bill of A$25.50. Already at 1800 hours there were about eight others dining; later, three attractively dressed young women came in so clearly this place is popular.Wendy ought be considered for country NSW's hospitality employee of the year, such was her great service. Well done.

Nice place, cheap beer, good food, good place for a punt. Plenty of pokies and the courtesy bus was handy.

Friendly service. The wait wasn't long for food to start arriving. The moneybags were good: crunchy with a coconut flavour. There were a few different things on the menu. We wanted to sample part of two desserts and this was no problem. People collecting takeaway must walk right through the restaurant, so try to get a table along the wall to be away from the passing traffic.
