Now known as Eastern Door, this was a major disappointment. It was crowded which we thought a good sign. Good service from the two young wait staff.However being located in a tourist town, it would appear not to be reliant on repeat business.The spring rolls were hot and tasty. The Kem o n chicken was dry and we had to ask for more sauce. The jasmine rice was lumpy and appeared to be the dregs from the rice cooker. No fluff and no attempt to ensure fresh rice provided.The pork in plum sauce was tasteless. No flavour and the pork was tough.The final dish, beef in black bean and pepper sauce on a sizzling Plate was great. Fresh, great taste and we'll presented.Overall a disappointing experience ed and with the prices sadly cannot be recommended.

We only had time to grab some takeaway and I'm glad we did. The serving sizes were generous and staff were happy to accommodate vegetarian/vegan options. I would buy from here again.

We celebrated a birthday last night. Thirteen of us. Although the meals did not come out together they werenât too far apart. We chose the traditional Pad Thai ($16) and the ginger vegetables ($14) and they were fine. Others in the party enjoyed their meals too.There werenât too many dine-in customers but there was a steady stream of takeaways.The owner came out to ensure we were happy with our meals.Iâd go back again.

We had dinner here with friends, and ordered a good mix of their rice plate offerings. It was all superb! We also had equally superb entrees. The service was excellent. In all, we love to come here every time we visit Kingscliff, and it's great to see place has sustained it value.

Very good quality food and decent prices, the red curry fish is just amazing, well cooked and the taste is just amazing, I would also recommend some of their meat curries, probably wouldn't bother buying alcohol which is very overpriced, just drink the water and enjoy the food

Never get tired of the lamb tikka, sherpa bread and rogan josh. Would still have to be my favourite Tibetan/Nepalese restaurant after all these years and definitely a go to place when visiting Kingscliff.

Visited last night table for two booked early and glad we did Sunday night nice and busy staff were fantastic food is delicious great menu still much to try next time. I have peanut allergy and they respectfully helped and I live to tell stories!! Thanks again.
