Things to do in Albury
Croatian Chevapi (sausages ) in Lepinja bread ( deep fried bread ) with fresh onion Greek yogurt and Avjar (capsium past)
This has to be one of the best kept secrets in Albury - after a late night out what a better way to fix a hangover on a Sunday morning at the Kiewa St Markets in Albury than with authentic croation cevapi sausages with lepinja bread, a side of avjar, yoghurt and onions. This has got to be Croatia's answer to a fixing a hangover - well it worked for me anyway.Thank you for the great review. Next time your at the markets let me know so you can try some of our new products

The first impression is the smell of fine food cooking, staff are friendly and attentive to your needs. The food was magnificent cooked to perfection served in a timely manner with lite conversation from the waitress. Wine was excellent and the Port at the end of the meal was exceptional. We left feeling happy and well fed at a reasonable price definitely recommend this experience to all.

Enjoyed both lunch and dinner here recently. The welcoming fire is nice on a chilly winter's day too! The staff are just as welcoming - pleasant, unobtrusive service (Thanks Jan, Loni and Alana). Had slow-cooked lamb paella - a big meal for me, could be shared especially if you have starters. Looking forward to going back and trying dessert. Wine choices interesting too- Spanish as well as Australian wines.

Our thanks to Tara and Dan, the highly competent team that make the offerings, from the concise menu, such a pleasure. No short cuts are taken here and each dish is made from well sourced ingredients.Whilst the menu tends towards the minimalist, the wine list is exactly the opposite. It was a pleasure to place our trust in Matt, who is not only interested but very interesting indeed with his knowledge of all he purveys. We felt that the wine list was well priced and offered a broad array of wines to complement the delicious flavours offered by the food menu. Our whole meal was more than just dinner, it was an experience in deliciousness. Most enjoyable and we shall be sure to revisit when next in Albury.

We had dinner last week at miss amelie, and started off at little missy! Great cocktail! We were showed our table by the maitre d. Well presented menu and I asked for some provenance of the items on the menu. And to my surprise one item in particular was a frozen item! ( duck). I missed that one for the price ...The other items were good. We had a few comments on the food and didnât expect the chef to arm himself with bring so arrogant at the table. My friends and I were felt as if we could not comment. It was like âyou come to my house, be quiet, pay and leaveâYes we are 2019, but Mr chef, you should be aware that customers pays your bill and wages at the end of the night, and sometimes we paying customers have the right to pass on COMMENTS!!!I never experienced this before, that was a first and certainly a last. Do this in the city and you are gone. This restaurant is very popular with locals. Sir, Again I appreciate your feedback, just like I did at your table when I spoke to you. You have felt the need to express this further, but left out the detail. Your friend, didnât like the flavours with her calamari ( Romesco, black bean, and squid ink pasta). The menu clearly stated what the dish contained, It certainly didnât read chips and tartare sauce. Your friend also didnât like the âcheesy sauceâ with her steak ( Jerusalem artichoke purée) , again, there isnât much a chef can do about personal taste preferences. And sir, too be honest your feedback that your duck fat potatoes were âtoo hotâ was something Iâve never heard before in my 20 years in a kitchen. And yes this did piss me off. We work 70 hours a week, sacrifice watching my children grow up, to listen to ridiculous complaints like this. I agree sir, that some restaurants are not for everyone. Iâm a very humble man sir, those that know me and my restaurant would vouch the same. I hope everyone that reads this review understands the frustration hospitality workers are constantly put through day by day by customers who think the world owes them something. Well, Iâm sorry sir but we donât.

We don't normally have Breakfast but my said she would like one so we ate in the Restaurant . We both ordered the Queens Breakfast which is 2 Poached Eggs served on a Toasted Muffin with Wilted Spinach , Smoked Salmon with Hollandaise Sauce . The Poached eggs were very large and perfectly Poached with beautiful , runny Golden Yoke . These matched perfectly with the Smoke Salmon , Spinach and the Hollandaise .Absolutely Perfect .

Had dinner here as a work group of four. Very busy for a cold Wednesday night. Only just got a table inside. Colourful and interesting decor. Friendly and quick service. Extensive menu of pizza and pasta dishes. All food well prepared and high standard. Reasonable value given quality and quantity of servings. Would return.
