Things to do in Scone
This café has a really nice feel to it. The layout is lovely and intimate atmosphere with seating at two levels as well as outside. The staff are really friendly and accommodating and the lunch menu was excellent. My husband and I decided on the Deluxe Bacon and Egg Roll. We both enjoyed it as it had lots of tasty bacon, egg, spinach leaves and a tangy tomato relish.
Called in on spec after several cafe disappointments in Scone and we were delighted with Tea of Life. Good coffee accompanied by sweets I could eat (gluten-free) and young people interested in a conversation. Local crafts for sale and inside/outside seating. The venue is a separate corner of a pub but by separate, I mean completely isolated from the pub and with its own street access. A nice ambience and a first rate break from the road. A really impressive cafe and streets ahead in cuisine, service and price from others in Scone.
The vibe is fresh and relaxed. Indoor and outdoor dining options plus a private dining room which can accommodate 12-14 comfortably. Gorgeous background music sets the mood whether catching up with friends over morning coffee & cake or breakfast Wednesday
Proprietor Clare Norvill has created a beautiful stylish Moroccan themed space, open for long lazy breakfasts, lunch and dinners. The dining areas include an outdoor vine covered pergola area, which is glorious in all seasons. The menu changes seasonally , and many dishes feature local produce such as local fresh farm eggs and homemade relishes. All dishes have flair and a chefs technique at work.Lucky Scone.Lee, thank you so much for that sparkling review! We all put in such an effort to make Mosaique a pleasant, calm & enjoyable space for guests to come, take time out & recharge. Looking forward to seeing you on your next visit to Scone.

Nanny, mum, dad and the 2 year old had breakfast here. The food was plentiful, fresh and delicious and well priced. The breakfast salad was fabulous. Putting up a menu board and having menus placed at the front entry would be handy. Service was friendly and helpful. We'll be back.

Country style food in a beautiful historic building with courtyard dining with easy access for wheelchairs and our courtyard is also dog friendly. There is a children's table and blackboard. We make amazing crazy shakes. Our coffee is the best! Parking is
Set in a gorgeous heritage building, Asser House has much more going for it on the outside than it does on the inside. The staff member, whose name I donât know, but you can recognise if you see someone sour, dour and lacking an iota of politeness required to work in the hospitality industry, was rude and unhelpful. There was no please or thank you, even after sheâd been thanked, just a blank look as if she had never heard the words before. There was no warning that the order would be so late, in spite of there being so few customers but many cockroaches. The food was good, the service less so. I have messaged isabellag to discuss this feedback with no response. We have cameras which capture sound and there is no truth to this review, rather it seems a personal issue with a staff member. The writer has no other reviews and we can only suggest this was done deliberately to try to hurt a staff member. We have a pest control plan and keep our cafe very clean, there are no cockroaches as the writer suggests. Please do not let this review taint your view of our lovely cafe. Unfortunately it hurts my cafe, not the staff member.

My husband and I and I dropped into the Crowded House Cafe while passing through Scone. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere and is very well patronised by locals and tourists alike. They advertised a breakfast and lunch special and have lots of great, fresh looking sweet treats. These include some great looking gluten free options. The coffee was brilliant and the scones were hot and served with a generous amount of ham and cream.
