This place is so over priced for what you actually get, Iâm shocked that people keep going back for more. The food isnât that great and definitely âwesternisedâ Lebanese.

I had not read the reviews but had heard fairly positive word of mouth prior to having the $50 pp banquet.When the first meze platter came out , i was surprised at the complete lack of flavour in the dips & the dryness of the bread. The main meats i will admit were well cooked but flavourless other than the lamb kofta. The dessert was a few cut up pieces of Baklava & Turkish Delight. I left feeling full (there was plenty of food), but let down. Having grown up eating Middle Eastern food, I know how full of flavour it could be, this was anything but.I have since read reviews which rave about the taste, but if you have ever had proper Lebanese food, you will know that its anything but.I will give thumbs up to service, all staff were nice and efficient.Overall, i wonder if management have decided to de-flavour the food for the local tastebuds, but if you are looking for traditional Lebanese food please drive to Sydney.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday with friends.Had lamb and vegan plates. Both came with hommus and taboulet and were good.Hi Peter,Thanks so much for your review!We hope to see you again soon at Cedar's Kitchen.

Dinned here last night with another couple on a Groupon Voucher. Firstly our waitress was a gorgeous young lady who entertained us with her great service and interacted with us as well which I loved. When you purchase a Groupon voucher and don't get to pick what you want it can be a little daunting, HOWEVER the food was to die for. The flavours very wonderful and I must say it is the best Lebanese I've had in Wollongong. The food portions were perfect as was the desert plater.

Stopped here for coffee( excellent cafe hellenikos- Greek coffe), the menu looked good so came back that night. Great choice. Food was delicious!! Garlic Pida entree, delicious moussaka and lamb cutlets with great Greek salad. BYO with minimal corkage. Everything wonderful, although our waitress was a little off hand and could have been friendlier. But overall, both very happy.
