Had dinner here last Thursday with the family.Good value, especially on Thursdays as the kids eat free off the kids menu.Food was very good quality with decent serving sizes and a good range of beers available from the bar - the staff very friendly also.Look to have had a recent upgrade as well.Well worth a visit if you're passing through Goulburn.

The Astor provides a comfortable air conditioned public bar and lounge bar environment featuring clean, modern decor and a relaxed atmosphere. A 40 room motel is also attached to the hotel providing clean, comfortable, fully self-contained accommodation a
You get what you pay for... but this was not to bad. A little noisy because of the pub, but good position. Walking distance to all the shops. Good food at the pub. Comfy beds, big tv and a kettle, toaster and fridge. Tiny bathroom though. Good little motel for an overnight stay while we were passing through. Food was tasty and cheap, however the atmosphere was something else. The Bowling Club is looking very jaded and there is no physical separation between the dining area and the rest of the club. It is very noisy and difficult to have a conversation while eating. The Bowlo is part of the Wyong Leagues Club group, and in all honesty it is an embarrassment compared to the other WLC clubs. They need not spend some serious money to bring the Bowlo up to the same standard as other clubs in the area. Most of the locals I know think that the Bowlo is a 'dump' that only stays afloat due to its cheap beer prices. There tends to be a lot of family groups going there for dinner, so be prepared for young children running around in the dining area.I understand that bistro will be changing hands soon, while the food might change I suspect that the layout of the dining area won't.
