Having dined at the Hovell Bar & Grill many times over the past 6 years, it has been the friendly service and consistently great food that draws us back each time. As a customer I crave these qualities and unfortunately many restaurants tend not to provide the same great experience at the next visit ... happily, the Hovell Bar & Grill have maintained consistently high standards over the years. Since our last visit 2 years ago it was evident that a staff change over had occured; my past experience with this situation has normally seen a drop in standards (food & service), this was not the case and can report that the meals and service were awesome. To the staff on shift 15 Jul 19 ... great work and we look forward to dining with you again when we next stay in Albury.Dear scottk687,Thank you for your excellent review, we are thrilled with your remarks. Attended for a work Xmas party having never been here before. I was pleasantly surprised. Lovely facilities, staff very accommodating with last minute menu requests. Food was delicious.The only criticism is that drinks service was a bit slow.Overall a great spot.We're so glad you had a great night, thank you for choosing our venue. The first impression is the smell of fine food cooking, staff are friendly and attentive to your needs. The food was magnificent cooked to perfection served in a timely manner with lite conversation from the waitress. Wine was excellent and the Port at the end of the meal was exceptional. We left feeling happy and well fed at a reasonable price definitely recommend this experience to all.

right next door to Nord Bakery, this delightful cafe has some cheeses, goats and sheep, lovely cakes to have with your tea or coffee, accepts credit cards and eptos. seats are metal has outdoor seating not undercover, also two hitching pegs for dogs with water bowls...will visit again just love it
