Nice people very friendly running this place. Not on the main street, but a busy little street. One should go the extra few metres and try it. I had the burger and thoroughly enjoyed it.Thanks Denis

Manly Greenhouse takes its name and cues from the free-spirited culture and natural beauty of the coastal suburb. Comprising three distinct levels; a casual street level bar offering approachable all-day dining, middle level refined grill restaurant, and
What a find! The Grill restaurant on 1st floor of Greenhouse is great. Well priced food, lovely cocktail menu and helpful professional staff. What a treat to see carpet on the floor! Plus the fact that Tables in the main are well spaced meant that our group of 6 could converse without shouting at each other! This is very unusual in Sydney. Worthy of 5 stars for this attribute alone. Started with a mandarin and lychee Bellini, entree of octopus, shared a generous shoulder of lamb, and finished with a rhubarb soufflé. All top class. Thank you Greenhouse.

We visited Plato's republic as a family with two young boys. We were starving when we arrived and the helpful waitress quickly brought out a sharing starter of that bread and dips which was so delicious the boys devoured it. Mains were equally good and also substantial enough to fill us up. My favourite was the lamb kebab (which I was still thinking about the next day) and the boys loved the grilled chicken. Even the $30 wine was good. Overall a great meal in a child friendly venue, recommended.
