Absolutely stunning food, friendly and helpful service, lovely experience from start to finish. Waiter made my elderly Aunty feel comfortable and answered lots of questions patiently, as well as very helpful with dietary requirements for my husband. Would definitely return next time weâre in Terrigal!

Lovely staff and great wines. The food is cooked by a Columbian chef in a French style, but not quite the finesse of French food. Having said this, we had a great night and everything we ordered was nice.Bonjour, Thank you for your feed back I totally respect your appreciation of what constitutes french cuisine..the same way i was delighted to read the below from another customer.Experienced the most incredible meal at Lisle de France yesterday. The service, the food, the atmosphere was impeccable and weâll definitely be back. Tess and I took BlueEyes (our mummy!) out for a belated birthday lunch and it was DIVINE. Canât beat traditional French cuisine with a twist. JUST BEAUTIFUL. x MOFRENCH CUISINE ... NOTHING BUT!

Global fusion of modern share plates with influences from The Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia and North Africa. Guests can select from a wide range of fine cuisine to share.
My wife and I dined at Suq after a movie, by accident. We had meant to be at the Vietnamese two doors down, but were too disorientated to find it. Instead we walked into Suq, where our request for a table was met by a rough rebuke for having brought our own wine, understandably not permitted at a fully licensed restaurant. I took my wine back to the car and returned. Having moved from interstate a year ago, we have become accustomed to poor service, presentation and cuisine on Central Coast. My curiosity was peaked by the unusual degree of rudeness shown us by the staff, and by the apparently excellent menu. Intrigued, we decided to stay. We ordered two glasses of pinot noir. The pinot gris arrived, and was replaced, with a gruff apology, by the noir, when I complained. The noir was definitely evident in the attitude. The menu is set in a share plate tapas-style arrangement. My wife, who is vegetarian, and I am not, requested that her meal be brought out in the sequence she ordered it. This was met by a trouncing rebuttal by the waitress, who explained that at Suq, it was 'my way or the highway'. Later she relented, came back and said she would try to bring out my wife's food, with entree and sides as a main, as she had requested it. The temperature took a sharp drop in the evening, down to 16 celsius, but I was dressed for summer in a short-sleeved shirt, as were many of the patrons on what had been a pleasant early autumn day. The waitress kept opening the entrance door behind me, from whence the cold wind blew on my back. After shivering for an hour or so, I asked if she would please close it, as I was cold. I was told that if she did, the whole restaurant would heat up. My response, to the effect that it was about minus 28 outside, and 'heating-up' might bring the room temperature to around freezing point, so would she please consider my simple request, resulted in palpably resentful compliance. The food was excellent, equal to the best we have had here on Central Coast. The wine was lovely, too. The chef emerged at the bar late in the evening, his persona and carriage consistent with the excellence of his culinary artistry. The service was disdainful, and lacking insight into the mismatch between pretension and poor hospitality. Management needs a good shaking.Thankyou for your feedback, we are truly surprised by your experience and apologise for this. Our waitresses on the night were also sorry to read your review as they are usually always very hospitable and I often get told how caring they are and how friendly they are with customers. It was an unexpectedly busier night than usual and many walk ins like yourself came in. Our waitresses have been with us for a long time and take great pride in their job, they apologise and are sorry if you felt uncared for, they certainly did not mean to make you feel unwelcome so thank you for still coming in despite your initial impression and dining with us and so glad you enjoyed your dinner. We will definitely take your feedback on board!Kind regards,Monique
