Very disappointed in this restaurant, we were a table of 6 on a Friday night at 6.pm. Staff was friendly but the service was quite slow had to ask for the menu. Three of us ordered pasta Spaghetti Marinara, Meatballs and Spaghetti and Creamy Chicken Boscaiola and the pasta was quite dry, no sauce and no taste at all, couldn't even see the parmesan cheese that is usually on the Boscaiola. We thought wines were a bit expensive for what the food we experienced was. We won't be going back!

Tuesday night is trivia night at the OVH and it attracts quite a gathering. Dinner special is roast of the day but the menu is diverse, from burgers, salads, seafood to steak and veges. Friendly atmosphere and huge back deck make this historic pub worth a visit.

If your looking for a great pizza, Surfside pizza and Bistro is the place to go. Located in the North Beach bowling club at Mylestom, this place serves up delicious pizzas to eat in or takeaway along with a new bistro menu that covers everything from steaks, schnitzels and great fish and chips. We stayed after bowls one Saturday morning and enjoyed one of their weekend lunch specials. With a wide variety of choices it was hard to choose what to order, I had the fish and chips (two types of fish) and my wife had the chicken schnitzel wrap, both meals were well presented and delicious and eaten in the outside dining area enjoying the peace of the natural bushland setting.So next time your looking for a really good dining experience take a drive down to Mylestom and enjoy this wonderful little gem of a restaurant you won't be disappointed.
