We were visiting from England, our daughter lives just around the corner from Shuk brought us here for a coffee after walking her dog in the morning. I got served pretty quickly with a takeaway coffee and called back later for another coffee and a cake. They have a very appealing range of cakes. The day before we left for home we called in for a bit of brunch. I had the hummus and slow cooked lamb which was absolutely delicious. My wife had a sandwich which came in a wrap rather than thick chunks of bread which she too enjoyed. The staff are all very pleasant and the french girl who took we paid on our way out was especially nice. This place doesn't have a huge lot of competition in the immediate vicinity but it would do well wherever it was situated. It has lots going for it. No wonder people hang around waiting for a table at busy periods. I wish I'd heard about Shakshuka before I got back to England!Hi Gareth, Thank you so much for this amazing review!! We really appreciate your kind words and will pass it on to the team ;) We are looking forward to seeing you next time you'll visit Sydney!Best regards.

Have been here so many times over the years but this latest visit was a little disappointing. Menu has reduced items on it. No more Basturma????? And food portions have definitely reduced. Haven’t seen the same staff for a while so I wonder if the ownership has changed. Food was ok but not up to previous standard. Kafta dish had three meatballs. Main chicken dish had one piece fairly dry chicken. The roasted cauliflower and the lamb main are still the go to dishes here. Won’t be running back.

Nour Sydney

Nour is built on a dream of presenting classic Lebanese flavors in a fresh, exciting way. Who said falafel has to roll to the same old beat, meal after meal? Why does eggplant only get to hang out smashed with tahini? Don't you think the humble vine leaf

Saturday night is NOT the night to dine at this over priced restaurant. Besides the feeling of being on the set of the Kardashians or Shahs of Sunset ... the large obnoxious table of 14 seated right next to us got louder and louder as they got more inebriated ... ending in the “gentleman” of the table having a flatulence contest at the table !Tried to change tables but was told “sorry we are too busy”.Oh, the food is ok but over priced.
