This is a hole in the wall cafe that charges 4 -5 star prices!! The seating is uncomfortable!! They are out of even there house wine!! They are out of menu items!! A terrible experience and we walked out!!Maybe ok for a drink at midnight!!Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We humbly disagree with your assessment.A few points:1. Not a cafe2. We have reasonable prices compared to our competitors3. You didn't sit down for more than two minutes, the seating is quite nice with a glass of wine4. While my team was explaining the options you left abruptly, we have a decent size list of outstanding wines which change occasionally due to supply and vintage, we substitute when appropriate5. It wasn't a terrible experience, you came in with a scowl and were determined to have a bad night, I hope you're feeling better now.6. We close at 10You didn't eat or drink anything, so you don't get a vote.Kind regards

Tucked down an alley and hidden underground, Palmer & Co. is a time warp to the era of prohibition with its bootleggers, sly-groggers and the like. The 1920s-style clandestine bar serves up an extensive menu of spirits and specially crafted cocktails usin
It's sort fo hidden. If you don't know that it's in a small alley there are chances you will not find it. When we entered the bar, the first thing that hit was music which transports you to another era straight away. The ambiance is fantastic! It's like you have time traveled into the 1920s, the music, the decor, the servers in their unique attire (all had different looks but1920s theme going on), the lighting all serve the purpose of transporting you to the 20's. They have a live singer too. It was jam-packed and there was not a single table or even a spot to stand was available. But we got lucky within 10 minutes and got a spot on a small standing table. The cocktails are great I tried a couple and all were around $20. My favorite was Mercy Me. Whatever food we tried was also good. If you don't get a table then it might be a little troublesome, as me personally I don't like holding my drinks all evening long I need a spot (especially in an over crowded bar). My suggestion is to keep an eye on one of the standing tables and grab it quickly if someone is about to leave. That's what we did.Overall, we have loads of fun. It was a fun night. I would go there again for sure.

the ambiance of the restaurant was causal and relaxing (some might consider it a bit noisy).a small but interesting menu was served, alongside with a tasting menu which captures much of the signature dishes.the wine menu was rather fun and exceptional, an extraordinary selection.overall good value for the food and experience.
