Located in the heart of the Gosford CBD.James and his staff are wonderful and the food was well prepared and presented. Extremely accommodating, friendly and a great atmosphere. Inside/outside dining. The pizza I had was the best I have had since travelling in Italy. Now that the Council has employed security in Kibble Park the undesirables have move on.

We had a very good and filling luncheon at this venue. The restaurant advertises casualDining, and a modern Australian menu . However, in an extensive menu selection there was tapas, Italian pasta, Greek salad, Lebanese choices, grills and the signature classic meals.Without much competition in the Gosford area this restaurant is a stand out - and a special for casual dining. It is quite large and suitable for functions. The decor is eclectic with vinyl discs used as place mats, and old vinyl albums on the ceiling. The atmosphere was modern , despite the vinyl record place mats ( and I bet they lose a few of those now?) and welcoming! For our meals we chose the classic offerings of, for entree, garlic prawns and the salt and pepper calamari. Good servings and well presented. Our mains were mega!!! We both had steaks, one of the fillet Mignon, which was large and had all the ingredients, but was not presented traditionally, with the bacon wrapped around the outside, and was placed on top. However a delightful serving and despite the steak size, it was cooked perfectly to requirements. The other main was the "Kim's Steak" which had fresh avocado on top and three prawns. Again, it was a mountain of a steak, but tender and cooked perfectly. The mains had reasonable accompanying vegetables in the price of the main. The service for a Tuesday lunch was a bit hit and miss but let's face it we were there for the meal, which was over the top, and it is casual dining. The wine list, as was the case when the restaurant was named Ashleys, is still a bit of a Mystery prize, and needs improvement, but what you get , white or red, is very reasonably priced.Parking around the restaurant, with so many car yard and car service operations, was a bummer at lunch time today.Overall a great dining experience at a very reasonable price. Thank you Engage Restaurant, and we will return. Recommended!!
