Things to do in Griffith
See room review for Kidman Wayside Inn - food was fine but not exceptional. Experience with wait staff less pleasant and deterred us from dining there again during the week we were in Griffith. Lots of other excellent dining options in the area left us spoilt for choice and we felt no need to deal with the restaurant again even though it was at the accommodation we stayed at.
Way overpriced $25 entree size pasta, very entree sized and $43 meatball polenta main - 3 meatballs. These prices may be fair in a hatted restaurant in Melbourne or Sydney where the diner would be assured of fine food but not downtown Griffith NSW. The food itself was good, not great, certainly not excellent. The ragu was over salted and my lips puckered, the gnocchi though silky with well balanced flavour left a hint of flour on the palette. The 3 meatballs and polenta with side sausage was nice although the sausage was over salted. Can't justify $43 for this meal. The atmosphere was lovely, a quiet warm restaurant on a freezing winter night. Staff attentive not particularly friendly. At half price I may recommend, but at full price, I recommend you shy away.
We attended a function with 20 of our family and friends and had a ball! The freshly made pizzas and pasta was just fabulous and the friendly service to match....Just perfect. Fully licenced, the wine list is comprehensive and well priced with a well stocked bar and friendly bar staff to accommodate your needs. Absolutely perfect for dine-in, take-away or function, you cannot go past Romeo & Giulietta'sWell done guys, we can't wait to come back.

little Italy is a authentic Italian cuisine which offers home made pasta with verity of sauces like spicy lobster lentil & mushroom risotto, pumpkin& goats cheese pasta . our pizzas are thin crust with toppings like Italian sausage , garlic tiger prawns e
With another couple we dined at Little Italy on a Monday evening. The place became packed - very unusual I thought for a Monday night - and the atmosphere became very popular European. We had an entree of bruchetta - with avocado and prawns - and the pastas and meals ordered were all devoured with joy. I was surprised that they did not serve squid ink linguine with their seafood marinara but the pasta served complemented it delightfully.Drinks were a very reasonable price for restaurant and we code Calabria Durif - a magnificent wine.A very enjoyable meal in a lovely restaurant.

We thought we would give Belvedere another go after not visiting for some years due to lack of service and wait times. We were disappointed again. The Caesar salad dressing was straight out of a bottle, not home made. The bruschetta had hardly any flavor and needed more seasoning, basil (instead of parsley as we got!) and a lot more balsamic. Carbonara was bland. The pizza, prawns and gnocchi the rest of the family ordered looked good and feedback on them was great. Kids meal of hot chips arrived half way through everyone elseâs lunch. Overall for almost $200 half the family were happy and half dissatisfied.

Getting back to the true roots of regional Italian food. Our ever changing seasonal menu is based on true regional Italian dishes using local produce from our wonderful farmers and producers. We don't reinvent the wheel, and our food is not modern - we ar
This cafe/restaurant came highly recommended and we decided to try it for lunch. On a cold windy day we ordered minestrone. The soup was very good but the quantity was on the smaller side. Price was $18 p.p. With a piece of bread! Quite expensive.

The setting in this restaurant is pleasant as the tables are not too close together and the music is comfortably in the background. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are quite reasonable. The same can also be said for the wine. The reason I gave a four and not a five is because of the staff. We dined there on two nights and had the same unfriendly, unhelpful and disinterested attitude from the staff. This was very disappointing. However, if one can ignore the staff, then a very good meal is to be had at Giuseppeâs.

We celebrated an anniversary and decided to go to la Scala for this special occasion - restaurant side. As usual my favourite dishes plus unusual specials board. Loved the la Scala prawns and kilpatrick oysters. The Sicilian apple cake was amazing. As always the staff are happy and friendly
