Gorgeous garden area our back. Lemon myrtle and Davidson plum cocktails were yo die fir... Staff very professionsl and helpful... great chef out chatting to everyone in a very relaxed atmosphere... too class. We r very lucky to gave this standard of restaurant in Yamba.

We are a family owned and operated cafe/ pizza bar with a great passion for fresh produce and flavours. We support local suppliers, farmers and fishermen and believe in ethical farming as well as serving fairly traded coffee (St. Ali/ Melbourne) and tea.
Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of choices (including options for plant based peeps). Coffee is good too. Tried their âTaco Fridayâ $5 tacos and there was a good selection with the oyster mushroom taco and the fish taco being a stand outs. Oh the charred corn dish was excellent too! Will be back next holiday.

Lovely, friendly little club. Dinner tonight was pretty good. I had roast pork & veg. Was nice. Only letdowns was no crackling, instant gravy & the roast potatoes were like frozen wedges. Pumpkin was really nice & impressed with getting sweet potato also. Partner had rump with mushroom sauce, mash & veg. Steak was lovely. Juicy & tender. Mash was really nice too. Only letdown was instant gravy. Pizza bread was nice but needed a bit more cheese. Would definitely visit again. Good variety on menu & reasonable prices. Hi amandas411,Thank you for choosing to dine with us at the Norfolk Bistro & for sharing your dining experience with us. We found your feedback honest & very informative which we really appreciate. Albeit a couple of things that didn't hit the mark, we are encouraged with your overall response. We certainly look forward to having you join us again.Kind regards,Bowlo Sports & Leisure Yamba

Seriously overpriced. Sydney prices in a country town. With a full bar there is no possibility of corkage. Me and a number of friends just kept to water, whereas a glass of wine would have been great, but not when 160ml costs way more than a decent bottle of plonk or 60 bucks for a bottle. My wife's gnocchi admittedly was tasty, but at $36 for something smaller than a starter. ..... My pizza wasn't bad, but it would have been a lot better if my cutlery could actually cut through the base. Our companions eventually gave up trying to cut theirs and resorted to rolling it up and eating it like a large sausage. Our group had 14 adults, and when it came to paying management refused to bill individually. It would have made life easier if they told us this up front, since they must have groups on a regular basis. We could have ordered as couples or gone to a different venue where payment is much easier. The atmosphere isn't bad (if you like loud background music) but value for money I'd give it a 1 out of 5 score.

The Block Bar Cafe on Coldstream Street is nothing fancy, but has outstanding food, great service, reasonable prices and friendly patrons. It sits below the Yamba YHA and you would expect it to be packed with young surfers and backpackers (which there were a few). But we learned on our first holiday visit a year ago that itâs a favorite pub among locals who are senior retirees in their 60âs who were former hippies and âflower childrenâ like ourselves. The easy going, pop music playing in the background is vintage 60âs and 70âs from artists such as the Eagles, America, Carol King, The Beach Boys and Seals & Croft. It brought back fond memories of some of the best days of our youth as we took our time chatting with other patrons and eating the delicious food. We HIGHLY recommend âthe Block Burger.â Itâs quite simply one of the best burgers weâve ever tasted - and weâve traveled in over 40 countries over the past 5 years, sampling a variety of burgers among numerous other types of fare. This Santa Fe âYankâ had never before experienced a cheese burger like this one. It is stacked 4â tall with complements including beetroot, a fried egg, Canadian bacon, pineapple, the usual pickles and onions, sliced tomato and a special barbecue sauce. The beef is juicy and grilled to perfection. The tasty bun is large enough to hold all of its fillings comfortably, without falling apart when you go to open your mouth (wide) to take a bite. Since I had my first one last year, Iâve sampled similar creations around Australia, but none can compare to this one. On this holiday, we also returned to the Block for breakfast and were equally satisfied. Itâs amazing how such a simple, down-to-earth establishment can produce such great food and provide such an enjoyable ambience. If we lived in town, weâd be eating here at least once/week!

At Boardroom & Bar we believe good food should be enjoyed amongst friends. Our menu has been designed around this concept with a large range of "small plates" specifically designed for sharing. There's a strong international influence which capitalises on
The new chef is doing a great job. We shared the lamb platter and it was outstandingly delicious. There was a good variety of accompaniments all fresh and tasty. The flat breads that come with the meal are especially good. The service was friendly and efficient and nothing was a problem. Highly recommended! We will go back soon.

Stopped for a quick coffee and enjoyed it. Staff friendly and prompt. This place is old converted house with outdoor and inside dining options. Great brekky and lunch menus available. Tried a few different coffee houses in Yamba and found this to be the best.

This tiny cafe does great breakfast and superior coffee. The view is outstanding and it was nicely decorated for Christmas. The staff were really accommodating and the portions too big for most of us to get through. Hope to be back soon!!

Just had a seafood plate for one. Nice enough without being spectacular. Included cold (but tasty and crispy) chips, two huge oysters, 3 prawns, small pieces of crumbled whiting, an average little salad and very nice calamari. The squid was the highlight. Nothing wrong with the meal but I wouldnât have it again. Iâd order the calamari meal if thereâs a next time. My partnerâs whiting burger was poor - fish and cheese arenât great together and when wrapped in a burnt bun, itâs not great.

The Laneway is right in the middle of town. I always make sure I visit this cafe when I am in Iluka as the staff are welcoming and the food is yummy. Very relaxed atmosphere with a good variety of magazines to read. You can sit inside or outside. Seating is casual and comfortable.
