Things to do in Gloucester
One of the best pub feeds Iâve had for a while. Generous portions and good service. Try the seafood linguini. Iâll be back
Despite the tiredness of the interior, the food and the service was terrific. I've had lemon chicken many times before, but no-one could beat the way they cook it. Their food melts in your mouth. We had to order more and then came back again 2 nights later! They're so welcoming.

The bottom floor of Gloucester Soldiers' Club.
While visiting Gloucester my wife and I looked for a place to have lunch. After taking a short tour of the town, we settled on the "New Fusion Restaurant" (new name) at 32 Denison St. They provide a lunch time menu ($10 per dish) which was ridiculously good value for the best Chinese food we have ever enjoyed. The service was outstanding being fast and courteous. The restaurant adjoins the Soldiers Club and is a pleasant, spotlessly clean dining area.

The lovely outdoor area, kids playground, cool tunes and craft beers on tap make the Roundabout Inn an attractive venue for lunch. We were really impressed with the quality of the food, the genuine friendliness of the staff and the relaxed vibe of the venue. I ordered the slow cooked pulled pork roll which was lovely, and my partner was really pleased with the fish tacos. Our six year old son gave two thumbs up at the tempura chicken nuggets with chips. We visit Gloucestor once a year and we will definitely return for lunch again when we next visit.

The owner is a legend although we didnât actually eat here. We wanted early Sunday morning coffee and the owner didnât have the milk we wanted. The next door cafe did but wasnât open so the guy went an knocked on the back door and ordered one. True country service

Roadies has a warm and friendly feel to it with it's Wood fire and red leather lounges, and a few vintage motorcycles completing the picture. Friendly staff, a menu to die for and licenced as well. Open for breakfast at 6:30am Mon-Fri and 7:30pm Sat & Sun
We often drop in for coffee to Roadies as it is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. The fire is also warm in the winter time.We also shared a toasted banana bread which was also really nice.
