Can NOT offer high enough praise to Rhiannon and the staff at the gates. The food was delicious, the setting is picturesque and the wine was divine. Rhiannon gave excellent suggestions of food and made the experience more wonderful than any meal we have ever had in the Hunter.Book as, even for a quiet weekend in September, they were busy. Sit outside and enjoy the lovely view. And if you can afford to get a helicopter here, youâll surely turn heads. Thank you 9giselleb for taking the time to share your feedback with us,I am personally delighted that you enjoyed the service that the team and I provided. It sure is a nice spot to enjoy a meal, a nice wine and look out of the vineyard. Next time we might welcome you both by Helicopter . Thank you again for your lovely review. Warm regardsRhiannon

Sensational experience to tantalise all your senses. We arrived a little early, sitting by the flickering fire we relaxed, absorbing the atmosphere. The music, soft lighting, sensational food (I canât recommend this enough), great service, made it the perfect evening for our last night in the Hunter celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Note: The previous photos on trip adviser donât do this venue justice. Itâs stunning!Dear DavidnMichele, Thank you for sharing your recent dining experience at Restaurant Botanica. Just returned from a Father's Day breakfast and found the whole experience a little disappointing. The staff were friendly and attentive, although they were not sure of were orders were suppose to be delivered. The venue is very good, with a lovely outlook and very pleasant surroundings. The meals we ordered were not that spectacular considering the price we paid. Not a whole lot of flavour considering they say they source local and organic. Definitely have had much better. Coffee was good.I wouldn't recommend or return.

Ok, letâs cut to the chase, this place has so much potential; location, building, concept ect all really nice....BUT! The service is SLOW, like really slow, slower than the Titanic sinking while Leonardo ran up the decks to save Kate...... which seems to take forever and was also unnecessarily drawn out!But Unlike the movie Titanic, Muse did have a good ending in the way of the signature coconut desert..... seriously if they Did not have silly set menus Iâd just get the desert and skip the rest, should only take about 2 hours for that to come out!Serious Feedback;Simplify the set menu, itâs kinda crazy Offer steak! Or something normal as an optionMotivate the staff and keep them on their toesClean the carpet.... omg YUK! Donât look downAnd speed up the service..... 4.5hrs for a dinner setting is acceptable for three courses!

EXP was recommended to us and it did not fail to impress all of us. This is a relatively small restraunt, with an exciting and innovative menu. There was 6 of us for dinner and between us tried most things on the menu all of which were delightful and delicious . There is a degustation menu with matching wines however we went off the menu utilizing the 2 or 3 course option.Dishes such as the Scallops and the Beef are absolutely outstanding, the myrtle gum ice cream desert fantastic. The restraunt decor is a little quirky, the service outstanding, friendly helpful and attentive. The wine list extensive and reasonably priced. EXP is highly recommended.

The food was Instagram worthy and worth every cent paid. Service was warm, personal and knowledgeable. They actually know and enjoy what they are doing. We had soups vide duck breast and mud crab for entree and tooth fish and smoked pumpkin gnocchi - so delicious and full of flavour! Will come again definitely.

We were a large group and chose shared plates for both entree and main course. The shared starters were good but the shared plates of lamb shoulder were only average. The best dish was the succulent whiting although the chicken Marsala was also good. Those that had the whole baked lemon sole thought it was superb. Rather overpriced for what you get and Iâm not sure that shared plates (both entrée and main) work for everyone.

We had booked the restaurant for dinner and our expectations were moderate. We had the 5 course degustation with matching wines. Each course was really tasty and the wines were matched perfectly. The wines were a great display of the hunter and gave us a great taste from multiple types of wines. The atmosphere was relaxed and trendy and had great Saturday night vibes. Will definitely return Hi Mikayla, thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review of your dinning experience here at HQ. We are glad you were pleased with our degustation option with matching wines. Your message will be passed onto our chefs, and we would love to welcome you back in the near future.

Visited Cafe Manuela for Sunday lunch. Warm friendly greeting and atmosphere. We both ordered the crispy skin salmon. When the meals arrived there was no crispy skin, actually there was no skin at all. We bought this to the attention of the wait staff and advised we ordered the dish for the crispy skin. We asked the staff member to speak to the chef. When paying the bill we asked what the chefâs response was, we were told he asked were we cranky. Is it so hard for a chef to cook to the menu. Iâm sure if the owner knew they would also be cranky.

made a decision to eat at Amandas and it was perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff welcomed us, had a drink then ordered our meals. All done with the highest degree of professionalism. Our meals, lamb rack and fillet steak, were sensational, service was quick, overall we could not fault the evening. Definitely go back there again
