Great food & amazing staff focused on getting food & coffee to you quickly & tasting great. Two kids had a mango smoothie which they loved. Waitress suggested splitting the adult one for two kids - perfect result. Bacon & eggs was great & the coffee really good too. Great atmosphere. Also had the paper !!

The Cowrie Restaurant in Terrigal provides fine dining service and has earned award winnning status for the past 35 years.Renowned for its modern seasonal cuisine with emphasis on locally sourced rural produce, and the best seafood the coast has to offer.
If youâre looking for a stunning location, the Cowrie will definitely mesmerise you with itâs breathtaking views and ocean coastline scenery. The à la cart and 2/3 course menus have many top dinning options for all tastes and refined palettes. However the full experience falls extremely short when it comes to service and enjoying the occasion. Waitering staff push full steam ahead on orders and drinks, with very little time to allow you to explore the menu and relax in the comfortable setting. Once orders are in, you wonât see anyone again until the plates are ready for collection. No efforts are made to explain dishes or help make any recommendations to entice the taste buds and allow you to explore the options available. It lacks a warm and genuine attitude and attention to the customers.Glad we went to a local after hearing about it, however we wonât be recommending it to our friends and family. There are plenty of other top end restaurants in the Central Coast area who will try harder to get your business and make your occasion simply magnificent start to end.

We came across the Bellyfish Cafe while strolling along the Terrigal promenade. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed the ocean views. All our coffees were of a high standard and the old fashioned ham and cheese toasted sandwich was excellent.

Not happy with the cooking of the chicken in a burger and reported this to staff inside the cafe. Staff, including the man who was working the grill plate, were uninterested in inspecting the chicken I brought in to show them. The girl on the cash register took the plate away. Asked her for a refund, which I received. The staff clearly thought my compliant was unjustified, even though not one of the kitchen staff came near the offending chicken, to verify this. After hearing me complain the kitchen staff, including the middle-aged man on the grill and some young people plating up etc., turned their backs on me and carried on. No apology and no comment. The kitchen staff cooking area and bench is an open area, located immediately behind the cash register. I was then charged for a coffee while I waited for my friend to finish her salad. This coffee would not have been purchased if the chicken had been cooked properly. It indicated the staff were not treating my complaint seriously Hi ClareLouiseSydney.Thank you for your feedback. I'm so sorry this happened to you.First of all, I've spoken to staff that worked over that weekend - as I'm not entirely sure what day this happened exactly. The chef wishes to apologise, he did not hear you but should have been notified by the staff immediately. We can assure you that although we have an open kitchen we do use all safety precautions to ensure that food is served properly and up to the health and safety standard that is expected.I will make sure this is brought up at our next meeting as complaints should be taken seriously. I'm glad we were able to refund you straight away however i understand the issue is that there was no immediate initiative taken by the staff member to show you the attention that is deserved.Again, I'm very sorry you weren't happy with the service you received. There are often factors that contribute to this however I agree this issue should have been handled better.Georgia

The Point Cafe at Avoca Beach is the heart of H&H. It is the core cafe and has become a community institution. With unrivalled views out to the Pacific and a menu to match, âThe Pointâ has been a favourite amongst locals and visitors alike for over 10 yea
After sometime we decided to try the Point Cafe again. Went for lunch and decided on the mixed seafood plata. Paid extra for pawns. It was well presented ,however, the ho5 Seafood was cold and the pawns were obviously frozen and absolutely tasteless. The place is not cheap so not that impressed. Would I go back maybe in a few months time.

Another amazing experience at the Reef. Thereâs no better outlook from any restaurant on the coast and the service, meals and wow the desserts match the view. One of our absolute favourites for a romantic night out as well as for a special occasion for a larger group.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Have been here a couple of times. Pizzas are great. Service was good, we had a very attentive and helpful waiter. Lovely setting. Only thing I would suggest is that if you are dining there for dinner in winter you request a table inside the restaurant so that you don't get seated on the verandah which is very cold and not well heated.

Aussie craft beers, tapas & pizza
Went here with 2 friends who have been twice and it was really good food thoroughly enjoyed. Tapas was great and pizza spot on maybe the calamari was definitely over cooked very chewy but the service was fantastic! Lovely venue and the heaters outside spot on so thankyou .

We are a small restaurant in Terrigal, on the Central Coast of NSW, just an hour north of Sydney. Teaming fresh, seasonal local produce, with punchy, vibrant flavours, we strive to be a beacon of contemporary regional dining.
Been here a couple of times now and it has been the same each time . Consistent. Beautiful food , prepared slightly differently. Great wine selection. And the owner is a character who makes it more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Indigo â Eats, Treats & Bar is a Central Coast dining experience not to be missed with East Coast fresh favourites such as signature steaks, seafood, regional produce and house-baked bread. Our chefs create seasonal menus featuring regional produce, local
Had a work Christmas (2018) party at Indigo restaurant and it was delicious. The supreme chicken was tender and thyme sauce flavoursome . Went again on Thursday night with work and was so disappointed. The chicken was small dry and lacked flavour. The Tyne sauce was just cream and thyme not reduction or flavour at all . Pumpkin and zucchini was over cooked and twice the size of chicken piece . For $25 plus it was a big disappointment. I will never book another work function again there. Staff where great and did listen to us as no one was happy with there meal. Hi Pet1101,I am really sorry that you and your guests were disappointed with the meals you received on Thursday 25th and that the team working was not able to rectify those issues for you on the night. If you would like to discuss your experience further please contact us on [email protected] so we can learn a little bit more about your time with us.
