We were a table of 4. There were only 2 waitresses looking after the entire restaurant. Although busy the restaurant was not packed. We waited 15 minutes to have our order taken. For some reason the waitress taking our food order was unable to take our drinks order so we waited another 15 minutes to have our drink order taken. We received one entree and then waited 15 minutes for the next two entree dishes. Finally our drinks arrived. We were then given a bowl of rice for our table and after waiting 10 minutes expecting our main meals we decided to pay for what we had eaten and leave. We were in the restaurant for over an hour and all we'd had were drinks and entrees. Although very pleasant the staff were clearly overwhelmed.

Menu looked amazing but.....We seated outside in the beautiful sidewalk cafe area where only a 2-seater was left without a reservation. Was SO EXCITED about the menu. Nearly 20 mins later with hardly anybody in the restaurant We verbally told the waiter we ready to order but he seemingly appeared to ignore us. He walked past us a total of 4 times being irresponsive to the fact we ready to order. He went to the garbage bin, served an Asian customer her take away and blatantly walked straight past us 4 times as we looked him straight in the eye. There was hardly any other ppl in the restaurant. Only then I realised in the menu that it states you have to order at the counter inside. No drama. Many restaurant work this way but normally the waiter tells you to order at the counter when he drops the menu. Why could the waiter not tell us that? Was our first (and LAST TIME) there. This waiter didn't have a care in the world. He was very rude and abrupt and I can't understand why cause there were hardly 3 ppl in the restaurant??? We approached the counter eventually and I embarrassingly told the rude waiter we didn't see the note and wanted to place our order but my partner asked him why he could not tell us to order at the counter a total of 4 times he walked past our table after we told him we ready to order? He got defensive and to be honest - I wasn't in the mood for an argument. If you don't want to serve me I'll just go somewhere else. If I am the owner of this restaurant I would SERIOUSLY consider giving this male attendant more training as he clearly has some chip on his shoulder chasing your customers away...Your menu looks amazing but after being left feeling so uncomfortable for being there I seriously won't go out of my way going back - there are WAY too many other lunch options on that strip to choose from to tolerate that rude service. The waiter may come back with some excuse justifying for this behaviour but trust me - He is chasing away money from your business. He needs training.....

The sushi & sashimi was made fresh while we crunched on yummy lotus chips & the owner made suggestions to help us decide by telling us what came in fresh that morning. The food is great the service is prompt & friendly & the only downside is the decor but it's definitely the best sushi in town. Also BYO so that makes it economical

Vietnamese in terrigal. Serving modern Vietnamese and South East Asian. Hoi An Vietnam's city of Lanterns.
We visited this restaurant for dinner this evening. Having just returned from Vietnam, including a visit to Hoi An, we were excited to compare. We had the Vietnamese rolls, steamed Ha Long Bay prawns and the Chargrilled Steak. All were very good and, frankly, the rolls were better than anywhere we ate in Vietnam. Staff were great and prices were reasonable. BYO wine. I also had a Hanoi Beer which brought back pleasant memories.

A Vietnamese Restaurant that prides itself in the quality and service that it provides to the local community and its visitors. Offers authentic and modern dishes and can cater for all audiences from vegetarian, gluten free, pescatarian. A family run busi
First impressions are paramount and Alan the owner did an exceptional job at welcoming us and offering some menu choices. For entree we had the Hanoi Rolls. These are like a spring roll on steroids ie. About 3 times the size, generous delicious filling and a nice crunch from the fried rice paper wrapping. You have to try these The mains of Sapa Mixed Noodles, Lemongrass Prawns and a small Jasmine Rice. Both dishes were so tasty and good portion sizes. There was about 8 medium sized tender prawns in the Lemongrass Prawns dish and is served in a bowl with sliced cabbage pieces and grren beans in an delicious coconut curry sauce (similar to a laksa sauce) but next level due to the lemongrass and mild chilli flavours. This is really a stand-out dish The beer is served in a chilled glass ⺠and the table water was cold and topped - up frequently. We can honestly say it was a pleasure to eat at Sapa and will be back again for a fantastic lunch.Well done to Alan and the team.Thank you so much for your extensive and wonderful review. Ben and Sum Co Cafe and Nepalese restaurant providing campos coffee, unique breakfast, fresh product amd authentic Nepalese cuisine in the central coast
We had booked a table which on arriving seemed totally unnecessary. Ordered two of their cocktails (non alcoholic) which were both served warm? Service was very slow and uncomfortable, served four different bowls of food to share but we had to ask for some serving spoons! Obviously the waitresses appeared to be very young girls who might be still going to school (not that is a problem) but that were very incompetent or lacked training.

Bec runs a very efficient kitchen - I don't know how, with so many orders, that the mealscome out of the kitchen so promptly - with specials Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, e.g. Wednesday is Chicken Schnitzel, chips and salad night $10.00. There is a large menu with choices of Asian or Australian meals, They also have meat tray raffles on Wednesday nights and trivia sheet to answer with 2 nearest winners gettinga bottle of wine. Becs Kitchen is very popular with the Terrigal locals.

Beautiful little BYO restaurant on the main street of Terrigal.
Had not been here for some time. Things have not changes - same menu (a positive), efficient, friendly service, great food and ample servings.Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, once again.Over 50 dishes to choose from - prompt service from orders to food-to-table presentation. This is not a large establishment, with indoor or covered outdoor area.It is very popular so booking a table is recommended.Certainly not expensive - our bill was about $70 per couple, which included entrée and mains.BYO wine but not beer which is reasonably priced.Highly recommended.
