I had an amazing breakfast at Fusion... smashed avoc, feta on sourdough. I asked for ham to be added and it wasn't a problem at all. Friendly staff and excellent food. Thoroughly recommend.

This little family run Malay restaurant in a non descriptive suburban shopping strip at Nelsonâs Bay deserves 5 stars. Donât be put off by the location. The food was really delicious. Very authentic and fresh. Big servings to share. The stafff were lovely. Please try it if youâre staying in the area, itâs a refreshing change to all the mediocre seafood restaurants around.

This was some of the worst Chinese takeaway food I have ever eaten. The dumplings were bland and glutinous lumps, the 'special' fried rice had nothing special about it and the soy sauce that accompanied the dumplings was clearly from the bottom of the bottle as it was full of crystallised lumps and was bitter in taste. Servings were small -- the 'large' serve of sang choy bow only half-filled the container and the lettuce pieces were small. Very disappointing and expensive, I will never go to this restaurant again.

An excellent place for dinner. Part of a group of 6, 3 vegetarians and 1 gluten free - all of us thought menu met our needs really well. Meals were freshly prepared and served quickly. It wasn't a busy night, and was more than adequately staffed.

We have been regular customers at Mod Thai for the last 15 years or so and have always found the food to be consistently good. Tonight however we were very disappointed with the meal especially the Lamb Massaman which was very strong in flavour - more like mutton than lamb - & inedible. I complained and was advised that âjust because you didnât like it doesnât mean there is anything wrong with the dishâ but three of us were of the same opinion. The waitress did not charge us for the boiled rice or corkage but sorry the food we were served tonight was definitely not worth the $81.70 paid!. Mod Thai has always been our favourite âgo toâ local restaurant but after tonight ...........

Have visited this restaurant regularly since itâs opening. Initially service was haphazard but the food has always been very good. On our most recent visit service was friendly and efficient and the food was mostly excellent. The only dish we didnât particularly enjoy was the prawn Pad Thai. The Spring Rolls are especially good. This restaurant is a most welcome addition to the dining options of the town.

We paid $60 for soft shell crab, sweet and sour pork and special fried rice, honestly easily the most disgusting, disappointing, oily, horrible tasting chinese we have EVER had.all meals were so wrong. waited nearly an hour. so angry at the rubbish we paid for, threw it in the bin and went elsewhere. Be Warnes, this was on 19/8/17. Very unfair, should have taken it back and demand a refund. All three dishes were really oily and bad tasting. i have no reason what so ever to lie about this. Eat elsewhere.

One and only Nepalese and Indian Restaurant in town with BYO !!!
We have eaten here many times and the first few times I would have given 5 star but it has gone downhill over the last year or so. We went last night and were shocked that the cook was not wearing a hair net. The food was OK but the butter chicken tasted more like mango chicken. They did not have any pappadams. I am coeliac so could not have the naan bread. The waitress suggested to the cook that she go to the local supermarket (less than 100m away) and get some but he said no. It seems since the owner is pre-occupied with the new store in Charlestown, the Hawks Nest shop is being neglected.Thank you for your great review, problem starts when we think we will give a great review with 5 star when we think it was really a really great but we donât do it at that time, but we definitely give bad review when we feel it is not satisfying. Anyway that was your decision. Coming to the quality of food I promised you there is no compromise. Pappadum is not available because of quality of the product was not satisfying but it seems you would be happy with us to bring that supermarket pappadum instead of quality product. When you are coeliac than we serving curries with rice which is 100% gluten free. As my wife was pregnant and with new business in Charlestown I have shortage of time but not with staffs. So it is your perception and assumptions that it is neglected. Regarding the curry you know we are the best. Anyway Pappadum will be there when we will get good quality product . Hope you will understand. Thank you and namaste
