The Hollow Seafood and Steakhouse restaurant has worked hard to earn an outstanding reputation for serving the freshest, top quality food, all locally sourced and prepared to the highest of standards. Our seafood is collected fresh from Duncannon and Kilmore Quay and our beef is locally reared. Our menu is designed daily to make the most of the best in-season produce. As well as an extensive restaurant menu served from from 12pm to 9pm each day, we also provide snacks, sandwiches and childrens meals. We also cater for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs on request. Our restaurant is so cosy and inviting that sometimes we can get quite busy, so it's a good idea to call ahead for the busier lunch and evening periods.
We really enjoyed the food here, the fish in particular tasted so fresh it was delicious. The menu is very impressive. The staff were attentive and paid attention to the little details which we liked, they made us feel very welcome. We hope to come back again someday and would definitely recommend it.

WOW, stopped for a coffee.... but lunch choices were too tempting. The quality and freshness off the food were amazing. The ladies in the kitchen worked hard throughout the lunchtime rush, producing beautiful plates of food every time. The seafood platter- cod goujons, prawns, crab claws and the best salmon I've ever tasted with homemade wedges and dips. Fabulous!! My husband picked the sirloin sourdough accompanied by a homemade tomato & chilli relish - we fought over this!! We couldn't not try the cakes and the cappuccino were perfect. The girls that looked after us were pleasant and courteous. Really recommend this wee treasure....... we're already planning a return for breakfast crepes.

The locals go there for breakfast which is served most of the day. We found it clean, substantial food and very good value.
Sid's Diner is certainly unique. It is in a small strip mall on the main road in New Ross heading towards the SS Dunbrody Famine Ship on N25. Be looking for it because it is easy to miss. We had high hopes, and maybe our expectations were too high. Sid's is certainly an "interesting" diner. There are a lot of familiar road sign & license plate memorabilia, and the typical red & chrome furnishings, but it pretty much stops there. The service was wonderful; but, the food was just OK. The folks taking, making & delivering the orders were all cheerful & helpful. The menu was a bit different. I was looking forward to having a burger and to see how they served it; there wasn't a single burger on the menu. We ended up having a Panini and also the chicken goujons (chicken tenders). Personally, one visit was enough. We had just wished that along with the decor, and the service, that the menu had included the usual burger & Sandwich items typically found in a diner.

It was 10.45 pm and the place closes at 11.30. We'd just come from a piano festival concert and they offered to serve us if we weren't going to stay too late. All we wanted were mains. I had a delicious shredded chicken with sweet and sour sauce. My wife had equally delicious chicken in plum sauce. Complimentary spring rolls starters. Good Chinese beers. Service very quick and friendly. Would definitely go back again. Total cost €39.40. Reasonable. Place was empty but there was a brisk takeaway activity. We must have struck it lucky, judging from some of the other reviews!

Service could be a lot better, staff have no training! Owners need to take more interest, upon having dinner here once with a large gathering the staff had no clue to which person which starter/main course went too, very badly organised

Everytime we visit the Jade Garden we are welcomed with an acknowledgement that we are return customers. The food is great with a wide choice and there is a nice atmosphere inside. Excellent value for money and they offer a very efficient take out service too. .

The town really needed a place like this and the food, service and location is excellent. Great standard of food as we have come to expect from O' Briens around the country. A good choice for all tastes too and prices are fair also. Family friendly with upstairs Seating. A great spot to meet and chat or take a break from shopping. All in all a nice experience.

We stayed two nights in Glendine House, Arthurstown, Co. Wexford, with Ann Crosbie and her family.
It is a substantial property, which has had a large extension very tastefully added to it at the back.
We were given a 'superior room'; essentially a large double-bed room with en-suite and bay window. The room was excellent - comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was large also, and the shower was like a waterfall! - great to come back to after a day's walking.
On our arrival we were given complimentary tea and coffee. We were given the same on the second day.
Breakfast was part self-service buffet, and part order a la carte. They will cook pretty much anything, in any combination, to your specification - what more could you ask for?
While they don't offer evening meals, they do operate a free taxi service to the nearby restaurant The Hollow, which is superb - one of the best fish restaurants I've eaten in. The restaurant will then drive you back to Glendine House. This allows you to have a drink. A great example of local mutual support.
Highly recommended.

Just popped in here to get a quick bite to eat, very nice and a great view of the river. If I'm passing again I will call in. Only thing is the staff should clean down the tables after each customer
