Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza is a contemporary Italian pizzeria with locations in Colorado, Kansas and New Mexico.
Decent pizza. Not too expensive. Desserts were meh (cheesecake and chocolate cake). Plenty of outdoor seating

Ordered a pizza online. Showed my card to what I thought was to verify the purchase but ended up being double charged. $50 for a mediocre 16â pizza. Then I am told they donât have a website to order off of (literally ordered off of oldtownpizzaparlorabq.com) Talked to someone else who says they do have website but nothing can be done until Monday. After being on hold for a long period of time she says it can be refunded if I give her my three digit verification code on the back of my credit card, which of course Iâm not comfortable with. I ended up driving back So they could run my card. When I went in, Savannah had the audacity to ask me âwhy I let her charge me twice?â Apparently because she doesnât know how to do her job correctly. Instead of being apologized to for having to drive all the way back and double charged, the servers were rude and made it seem like it was my fault for getting charged twice. I asked to speak to a manager and the two girls say itâs only them on a Saturday night. They need to be taught some basic customer service skills if anything. Pizza wasnât worth the hassle.

At Il Vicino you order at the counter and then sit, but they do have someone to help you find a table and get you set up. From there on it feels like a full service restaurant. Overall, it's a nice combination. Had originally feared it wouldl be too casual a pizza joint. But, once you sat down the service was top notch. The burrata with pizza dough wedges was really great. The Caesar salad was great too (and a bit spicy!) . I must say the pizza was a bit disappointing- had been hoping for delicious crust a la other brick oven pizza places. This crust was pretty drab and a big disappointment. But, for the atmosphere and the other food, definitely recommend it if you are in the Nob Hill area.

Had lunch here with my son for the first time. The pizza was very good, but the bathrooms were really dirty. Prices were a little high for a slice. The lines were really long, but we didn't have to wait too long. I probably will try it again, but I sure hope the cleanliness of the place improves.

Our last night in ABQ and wanted a light meal, so it was pizza for sure. We had our fill of the delicious chili dishes in NM so this was a nice change. And I have to agree, Farina has fantastic pizza, thin crust and perfect size. Will come back next time Iâm in ABQ.

Golden Crown Panaderia is a old fashion neighborhood bakery in the Albuquerque old town area. We have had the honor of not only being on the Food Network once in 2004 with the show Food Finds. We are now being featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives : Guy
A sweet little place with delightful lunches and baked goods. The teas and coffee selections are great and the Mexican empanadas and cookies will make you roll your eyes in pleasure. try the green chile bread.
