Piccolino is a no frills and no atmosphere Italian restaurant/ pizzeria with a takeout window. The prices are reasonable and the portions generous. The staff is friendly and efficient, too efficient, the definitely rushed our dinner. Appetizers and salad came out the same time and we barely had time to finish and entrees were served. The bread and marinara dipping sauce were good as was the calamari and Caesar salad. My shrimp and spinach fra diavolo was tasty with 3 huge, tender grilled shrimp. My husband had the seafood pescatore with scallops, shrimp, clams and mussels, again this dish was very good. The pasta is not homemade. The low rating comes from being rushed and the god awful desserts. We got cheesecake and lemon meringue pie to go. A forkful of each and both went in the trash. Tasteless, nasty mess.DONT OFFER DESSERTS IF THIS IS THE BEST YOU CAN DO!

Been enjoying Centro Pizza downtown Santa Fe for many years. The crust is Delicious, tasty, thin and chewy, the toppings are high quality and the pepperoni and green Chile are great together. Owners care about quality, they try and try to please. They succeed. I ask them to cook mine xtra crispy, well done. They do that!!Cheese fabulous and sauces are great. Slices available during the day. Whole pizzas only at nightNice pizza dough sandwiches, very nice large salads. Their pesto Caprese salad is especially goodA big fan, for a very long time. Thanks Nathan!!

We have eaten more than once at this great Italian restaurant; the most authentic you will find in Santa Fe or maybe anywhere. During our most recent visit at lunch time I had cioppino, a daily special, and my wife had chicken parmesean with spinach pasta. Both were delicious. She was really looking forward to the lemon meringue pie for dessert, having had it previously, and was very disappointed in it as she has been trying to get this dessert here for two years. It was not the same, and when she told the server, it turned out the kitchen had tried a new recipe. Based on our disappointment, the server said they will switch back, and they gave us the dessert for free. Service was good. The atmosphere, at least midday, is relaxing and not noisy. There is a separate bar area with small tables, and a couple of dining areas (the restaurant, like many in Santa Fe, is in an old house). Parking is never easy in Santa Fe, but we have usually found metered street parking within a short walk of the restaurant.thank you we appreciate you review

Why not write down an order if you are a server? I wondered if our waitress would get it right and she did not. Husband ordered a âbuild your ownâ pizza with NO CHEESE as he is vegan. Also 14â. I ordered a 12â off menu. We recvd two 12â and his had 4 cheeses. He ate it anyway Bc he didnât want a fuss. He did not accept the offer to make another. I did tell the waitress this was incorrect and secretly hoped sheâd take off bill or something but no. I would not go back.

We prepare the finest, local and seasonal ingredients a la minute with the utmost care and respect. Our menu is inspired by Italian cuisine, but as food is born of the region, we try to stay true to our relationships with local growers. For that reason, w
This is a standard locals favorite, and we're there often. however, there seems to be a disconnect between the wait staff, the serving staff, and the kitchen. We ordered, asked for a change on the pasta, another person delivered it(serving staff?), and it was incorrect. Bue he said he'd send over the wait staff who had taken our order... and on and on. For four people having two courses, wine, dessert, it was such unconcerned treatment. And the 'wait staff' then could not bring additional dressing because ' the kitchen would not allow it..." What? What is management thinking? This unfortunately has broken the camel's back for me.

In the time-honored tradition of great local haunts, Trattoria A Mano is the neighborhood Italian spot you hope to find in your travels. Featuring Northern Italian cuisine in the fall and winter months, A Mano ventures further south to coastal climes in t
We were wowed by this place. We arrived earlier than our reservation, and they not only accommodated us, but gave us a table observing the kitchen. We give this place our highest recommendation. The service was sterling. The wine list was superb. And the food was exquisite. I am gluten free by necessity, and this place gets it. GF table bread and wonderful GF pastaâthe sugo with fennel sausage was incredible. My wife loved her salad and the green pea soup starter was great. Highly recommended.
