That's not to say that is great. It's just somewhat better than OK. Los Alamos is not known for great restaurants. My wife likes their Salmon Salad. The Salmon is always cooked perfectly. I like their New Mexico Dip Sandwich which is essentially a French Dip with green chile. If you must eat in Los Alamos you will find a decent meal here for an OK price. The service staff is great. I have never tried their drinks, so I can't comment on that.I'm being generous with the 4 star rating, but it's above 3, maybe 3.5.

I have been going here alone and with my family for several years. My 4 year old granddaughter loved the fluffy pancakes and the chicken nuggets for lunch. My favorite is the Huevos Ranchero in the morning. Just the right heat and plenty to fill you up. Lots of parking nearby. Get there early so you won't have to wait in line.

They compensate for flavour with spice. Not really a fan, but there are others who swear by their breakfast burritos. To each her own!

We usually grab a few carné asado burritos before heading home after “happy hour” next door. Great price and it’s two meals for me. A lot of meat though a bit salty. Lunchtime options are good too and service is consistently quick and friendly.
