This restaurant is rated #1 for good reason. The place is bright and clean with plenty of room for any size party. Situated right on the main highway. Everything looked good on the menu when we arrived for lunch. We also checked out what people were eating on the tables around us. Hard to decide, so we chose the lunch buffet. Enchiladas red and green both chicken and beef, beans, rice, tacos, and more. Everything was great! I don't think you could get a bad meal there.

Hidden gem! I am always looking for authentic Mexican food when I travel. I will be back! Visited on the weekend, so I got to experience the tamales. Also got Combo #1 so I could get a sample of it all. Everything was amazing! Amazing! Kitchen closes at 2:30, so come early. Bottled drinks. Not a lot of seating.

Ok, so it's an old, VERY plain drive-in where you can eat inside or outside via car-hop service. Food is basic/diner/drive-in food ... Burgers, steak-fingers + nice array of simple, but good Mex dishes. Very good bang-for-the-$$$. Doesn't compare to Laredo Restaurant & Bakery close by for Mex food. Regardless, overall this is good chow where you come fill-up the tank without breaking-your-bank. Nice, hard-working owner & staff. You root for good folks like this who work hard trying to make an honest $$$ - & deliver good food/service. Net/net: Think a still active authentic good drive-in in American Graffiti &/or Last Picture Show.

Really looked forwarded to their Saturday night Prime Rib dinner. The restaurant is located in a truck stop with its own outside entrance. I'm sure some of the food there is good but their prime rib left a lot to be desired. It was way over cooked and you could not cut it with your knife. They served a dinner roll on top of a dish of carrots. The result was soggy bread. Plus there was not any butter for the roll. Service was fair but I think it will be some time before I return. It was very over priced for the value.
