Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Roswell. Known mostly through myths about aliens and UFOs, there's more to Roswell than mystery and innuendo. No matter what your interests: archaeological and historical sites, special and sporting events, museums, arts and culture, Roswell is a great place for a weekend jaunt. More than anything, the area offers a multitude of outdoor activities, from bird watching and fishing at the Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge to swimming and boating at Bottomless Lakes State Park. Families will love the Spring River Park and Zoo, which features a special fishing lake for children, exotic animals and an antique carousel. There's plenty to do inside as well. The Roswell Museum and Art Center will appeal to anyone with an interest in Southwestern painters like Peter Hurd and Henriette Wyeth. History enthusiasts will enjoy the Historical Center of Southeast New Mexico, a grand house filled with area antiques, artifacts and a changing gallery of historical exhibits. Of course a visit to Roswell would not be complete without a stop at the International UFO Museum and Research Center, where you can find out what really happened when "something" crashed near Roswell in 1947 or maybe not.

I ordered Take-out, delivered thru TuYu. I don't know what they were thinking, I am in a hotel room ordering out and my order arrived without any utensils, no napkins, no salad dressing. The food arrived within a reasonable time, still warm but not anything that special. I would not have rated it as low but the salad lettuce looked like something left over and not palatable. Maybe a good thing they left out dressing. I guess I have to go all cave man to eat the entrée.

We visited for lunch and ordered pizza with mushrooms and Canadian bacon. The crust was on the thick side and was pretty good. The Canadian bacon looked and tasted a bit off. Overall, an average pizza. The building looked like it was an old converted fast food building and bathroom needed updating. Service was good.

Ordered a pizza and 2 drinks to be delivered to my room. It was brought promptly, but driver forgot to bring the drinks. He apologized and then remembered that they were out of what I ordered anyway. He left, went to nearby convenience store, bought the drinks with his own money, and was back within minutes with the rest of my order.Mistakes will happen, but he fixed it in a quick, professional manner with a good attitude. That's 5 star service. Much appreciated.
