Cocina De Dominguez is a local, family-owned and operated restaurant, established 13 years ago. Visit us today.
We received "take out" from here and we are glad we did! It was excellent (which is what expect) from a place. We would not hesitate ordering it again. The portions were very large with many "additions on the side--2 dressing options and bacon bits. The indigents were fresh. The chicken done perfectly. This is a great place for a quick healthy meal when you are shopping! Suggest it to the store staff and they will fetch it for you.

Gallup has a lot of Mexican food restaurants serving the same menu, plus Badlands which is a great high end steak house. But we go to Davids for dinner as they have a wide selection of dinner items, great service, at a great price. They have the best Italian food in town, and there is a nice selection of seafood - shrimp, trout; I've had a great steak here, and their Mexican food is very good. They have the best rellenos in town also. All in all, you'll cant go wrong. No alcohol, they close early. Very modest family restaurant in a strip mall going north out of town.Thank you very much we appreciate that you come by and try all of our food. We hope you continue to come on down and enjoy your food

Great newer mexican/american restaurant. This place is a real winner.
We were passing through Gallup and stopped here on the main highway to grab a bite to eat. There were many local families. The waitresses seemed to know all of them. The restaurant was a little noisy as it is a large open room. We ordered and had our food within 10-12 minutes. Food was very average. Salsa and warm chips were good. We watched as other customers left, the employees would have the table cleaned off within 2-3 minutes. Long line at the ladies room. Prices were very reasonable

If rankings were based solely on the qaulity of the food...then Grandpa's needs to be in the top 3 in Gallup! You order first then seat yourself. I ordered the Pork Rib special. I have NEVER had this much meat on my ribs!!! Super tender and tasty. Everything was delicious.

Tasty french toast (oddly shaped, very large, possibly made with pancake batter), eggs, ham, and hasbrowns! big breakfast and super yummy! Diner is small and a bit crowded but we got a table right away. Service was quick and friendly. It's a locals place as the waitress knew most of the customers' names. Check it out!

We stopped here based on the great reviews. Disappointing for sure we had fish and chips but they had no vinegar to go with it. We also had meatless enchiladas which had no filling at all. Sauce was very spicy but otherwise non descript. The only saving Grace was the service which was exceptional. Would not recommend

The office person at the chamber of commerce/code talker museum recommended Don Diegoâs when we asked him where he goes for meals. Even though a number of restaurants were more highly rated, we decided to go with his recommendation and we were delighted with our meal and the service. My husband had a combo plate and we tried both the red and the green chili. Both were very good. For dessert we shared a xango. Unfortunately we ate most of it before I got the picture. Overall it was a delightful experience in Don Diegoâs restaurant deserves a five star rating for todayâs experience.

Arrived too late for breakfast, so had lunch. Seated quickly in small restaurant inside of hotel, drink orders taken. Meal order taken quickly and we were provided with small dish of tortilla chips with salsa as appetizer.Meals arrived slower than we expected as they were not busy. Both of our orders were hot and as advertised, both tasty. Service was somewhat inconsistent during our meal...often wait staff passed by our table never refilling our drinks, other times we had two wait staff at our table both trying to refill our drinks or get us to order desserts. Not sure what was going on here. However, come check time wait staff had no difficulty getting check to us and waiting to get paid. Not sure if I was in this area again I would eat here, just too many other good choices in Gallup, NM.

We chose to visit this restaurant after reading that it was highly reviewed. While that's not always the perfect way to make a selection, it's a good place to start. We were very pleasantly surprised and pleased at the quality of food from this family owned restaurant. In our two week stay, we returned two more times and each time, we had a deliciously cooked meal with friendly, excellent service. Would highly recommend!

We got to Gallup early and someone had recommended Jerryâs. Itâs a diner type place. Full of locals which in my book is always good. Husband had breakfast burrito without chilli sauce as heâs not great with spice haha. I had one of the breakfasts. The waitresses were lovely. Kept filling my coffee up and it was good coffee. The place was so busy and ten mins after weâd arrived they had people waiting. I loved it.
