We had breakfast at Chef Lupes. The food was really good. The only complaint I had was I asked for chips and salsa. My request was met with a confused look. The response was "you will have to pay for the chips as it is breakfast." I have never understood while people assume you aren't willing to pay for something. Furthermore, why wouldn't you serve chips during a Mexican breakfast?

Chicken Fajitas were great - Beef Fajitas were great - waitress was nice. Problem was, we arrived at 12:56 pm and finally got out food after 2:00 pm. Large table who ordered after us got there food, ate, and was gone before we even got our food! I think our ticket was lost - after we questioned the wait, the cook was shuffling through tickets. I know - it happens sometimes - would not have been so bad if we werenât in a hurry.

Homemade and delicious. The service was amazing. We went early for dinner and had the outside almost to ourselves. Peaceful, quiet, exactly what we were looking for. Chips and salsa were winners. Combo fajitas and cheese enchiladas also perfect. The kind of place you might just eat at again the next day.

Smaller size cafe and open for breakfast and lunch. Friendly and efficient servers and a large menu. We ate breakfast several times here while on vacation. Primarily Mexican menu with many choices. Good omelets and Chiliquilles and quite reasonable. But request the pork chop not overcooked - my husbandâs was like shoe leather.

This place is very different and has been every time we have return to this area. We this time sit in front patio area which is a oh!oh! Due to traffic noise. Owners still donât know how to be friends to out town guess. Tenderloin taco are good because they are different. Will return but not due to owners .

This is our "go-to" place for New Mexico mexican food when in Ruidoso! Our family has been coming here for years. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the wait staff are always so friendly. â¥

This is a local hangout!! in the BACK of a GAS/Convience STORE !! a hidden JEWEL!!!
Hole in the wall bar that has good entertainment and great food. Strong drinks! Limited menu. Anything Hatch Pepper is great. Heard Enchilada Thursday is the most popular night. Not open Saturday or Sunday, or lunch any day. Why? Because they don't want to. Gotta respect that.

Mrs Pena was working hard and all the tables were full. We were able to sit down simply because someone was leaving when we walked in.If you are in a hurry, don't stop at Pena's; but, if you want an amazing meal (we stopped for breakfast) and have the time to enjoy your meal, Pena's is a must.Very clean, great service, excellent food! Mrs. Pena clearly loves serving others....

We've moved. 2825 Sudderth Dr. Tina's Cafe is UNIQUE In Ruidoso. Tina's New Mexican style cuisine features delicious and unique sauces made from New Mexican Chiles. Our GREEN CHILE CREAM SAUCE is a true delight. Care for some HEAT. Have some RED SAUCE and
We have eaten at Tinaâs quite a few times, always getting something different, and often choosing one of the daily specials. We have never been disappointed. From light shrimp salad to hearty beef stew, the food is absolutely delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the recipes are tasty. Her hamburgers and fries are the best in town. Sheâs also known for her tasty desserts, but we havenât tried them. Sometimes thereâs a wait because everything is obviously cooked fresh to order, but the surroundings are pleasant and the wait is worth it.

Since last review almost 3-years ago, tremendous improvement on food - easily top-2 dining opportunities in South Central N.M; plus, their service is so nice - attentive folks who really pamper you. Try their special seafood-buffet ... itâs far superior to Inn of Mountain Gods. Poolside food/beverage service is a real treat too. As far as catering to their customers/members, they have 4-dining venues. 99+% clubs are closed Mondays, giving no food/beverage access on Mondays. However, these folks stagger their dining rooms so as to make sure there are choices available 7-days/week. Donât see that kind of thoughtfulness much anymore. All-in-all, a VERY well-run operation offering excellent dining/beverage/entertaining for their customers. BooRah. Well done.
