With its rich cultural heritage from Native American and Spanish settlers, New Mexico has been both a Spanish colony and a Mexican colony, and still retains a strong individual identity within the United States. The landscape is breathtaking, the food incredible, and there is a thriving cultural scene, all of which makes New Mexico, and Santa Fe in particular, a great place all year long.

Luxuriate in your private adobe oasis located on the hill above the Plaza. Walk from your private condo right into downtown Santa Fe, just five blocks away. Return by private shuttle and explore the nine acres of manicured grounds and Southwest vistas that make up Fort Marcy Hotel Suites. Private condos are filled with authentic Southwest decor and homey comforts. Full kitchens make dining in a breeze and kiva fireplaces light your evenings with inviting warmth. Retire each night in your comfortable private bedroom before another day of Santa Fe excitement.
This place has real potential for an awesome destination, but unfortunately like other reviews have stated; this place truly believes in the bate and switch theory. The units you stay in are individually owned, and you might stay in one that resembles the pictures but you also might get one of the many that are cheap and dirty. The staff is unresponsive, and you get your keys for the room from a kiosk in where everything is automated. I called the 'front desk' the first day after noticing how dirty the unit was and how the kitchen utensils weren't washed. I was hoping to move units or get some kind of cleaning service out to the unit. My call went unreturned. I went down to the physical office the following day and was met with the response "it is what it is". The person seemed decent and said that he would email his 'manager', but we never heard anything about it. I left a low rating on their own survey system upon checkout, and was contacted by the general manager with disbelief. No resolution, but he did want to know where they fell short. Maybe after seeing this review and our decision to not return to the property in the future it will make sense. We paid $330 a night to stay here in the 2 bedroom units, and will probably just stay at an AirBNB or a higher rated hotel/resort in Santa Fe. Positive things; the pool was clean, the area/location was great, and the time that we went was very quiet.

Great Customer Service, Kyle was especially helpful. Very Clean and location was perfect for all the things we needed to do. Food options were within walking distance and so were other stores for the things we needed.

I really wanted to like this place, and after meeting the owner, I didn't want to slam the business, but I think I was misled to the quality of this place, and calling it a hotel isn't fair. I would want other travelers to know what they are getting into before booking here. It started with advertising the views, and asking if we had a floor preference, to which I replied I'd love to be on the 3rd floor, as it was a romantic first stay in Ruidoso. Please do not book here if you are trying to have a romantic night. They messaged me back that my room is on the first floor. As we drove in there was broken down old foundation in front of the view of the first building. Guess what room they put us in? There were no typical hotel amenities. No soap, nothing in the bathrooms. Old, run down, limited privacy, poor weather stripping. What hotel doesn't have blackout curtains? Every vehicle that parked shined their lights in our room. There was a road light that shone in our room. It's an old condo building, not a hotel. Some wall heaters work, some are just for show. Updates were absolutely not done correctly so it looked pretty beat up. I tried to make the best of it, and impress my girlfriend. They said they had bundles of "firewood" for $10. When I purchased a bundle, the owner said he thinks he might have a bad batch, but it will light. It didn't. I know how to start and keep a fire. Went through 3 fire starters trying to get one chunk of log to light. It would start and then quickly go out on it's own. I tried different logs. I stoked it for an hour before giving up. The insulation is terrible. My upstairs neighbors tromped around all night, and played loud music during the day. I was really happy to leave this place, and won't be returning. I feel like I deserve a refund.

Staff was extremely helpful with our late check Room was clean up to date and had fully equipped kitchenette The parking area was well lit but had quite a few vagrants mingling thru out the night but the hotel had security patrols and we stayed inside our room It has extended stay options but we stayed just one night while passing thru the area For the price it was well worth the stay

Beautiful resort; well maintained/updated. Limited things to do off season. 1 week stay probably too long - unless you are there for skiing. Earthships & Rio Grande Gorge impressive; good day hiking @ Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. UNESCO Pueblo indeterminately closed due to Covid. Pool/hot tub closed for next few mos for renovation. Taos outdoors beautiful; town so-so (lots of road work). Great local tex-mex food, steak & Chokola @ reasonable prices. Studio with 1 murphy bed + sofa spacious. Limited kitchen (in room) but access to a separate full kitchen. Good gym + kitchen (not that we ever used them); great lounge areas, washer/dryer (free), recycling & computer/business area. Service was great - esp Della @ front desk. Travel to Santa Fe/Los Alamos/Bandelier NP - worth the drive/sights; loved Santa Fe vibe. Next time will stay in Santa Fe area.

Time share location in Santa Fe, fifteen minute walk to the plaza. Comes with a small kitchenette, all the stuff you need to prepare meals, but why cook when there are literally great restaurants within five minute walk of the hotel? Best thing is free parking for paid guests and a bay of laundry machines. Unless you are a bonafide Wyndham owner or club member, internet is a nominal cost. Room was clean, nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Like your own home, no maid service. You are expected to wash your dishes and dispose your own trash and recycling. Our nightstand charging outlet was intermittent and left phone uncharged. All in all, I would recommend this place.

Come stay with us in the cool mountains of enchanting Ruidoso, New Mexico. Located at the top of scenic Camelot Mountain, High Sierra is a family-oriented resort located at an elevation of 7,484 ft. If you are seeking glitz and luxury you might want to look elsewhere; if you want to be close to nature in a rustic setting with breathtaking views of Sierra Blanca Peak & the Sacramento Mountains, we can't be beat!
We booked this condo through our travel club and it was disappointing. The pictures are deceiving. I believe the condos are individually owned so some may be in better shape. We stayed in 1301. First the pros: The location was great. Off the beaten path but close to everything. Quiet with great views. The front desk staff was fantastic. They met all our needs. The condo was clean. Now the cons: The condo needs a complete renovation. Everything from furniture to appliances is outdated and needs to be replaced. Maintenance on the condo has not been done. The one slider that worked barely moved because the track was so bent. The other slider was nailed shut. Closet/pantry doors were removed rather than replaced. Tile is cracked, carpet is threadbare. Vanities and showers are lower than normal. We all had to hunch over and we aren’t tall people. The hot tub did not work.

This is not one of the best WordMark hotels. After you have been here a few hours you will notice that the hotel can be quite noisy. If you are on the ground floor, you can hear everything on the floor above you. The rooms are not very spacious. However, the room was clean and well equipped. The bed was a bit too soft for our liking. And the bathrooms are quite small. On the other hand, the staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel is well situated. It is right beside a ski lift and the river. everything in town is within reasonable walking distance. Also, the Wi-Fi was not working during our stay. However, you could get a Wi-Fi connection at the lobby. Not certain if this is a short term problem in early July 2021 and I impression that may be of longer duration

We had one night booked (months in advance). Check in was odd... held my ID so we could check the room. No mention of a change to reservation but I used my key to enter a standard queen room instead of the one bedroom suite we had booked. Went to the desk and, oh... yeah... we had to downgrade you to be able to get you a room. Downgraded? Who actually says that? They were overbooked but absolutely refused to acknowledge any blame. The clerk and his manager actually tried to present it as if they were doing us a favor. They actually suggested it was our fault that they were overbooked. They suggested it was because we had booked on an outside site (which would still not be okay), but we let them know we booked through Extended Stay (on the company website). Oh... well... you are lucky to have a room. It's the Balloon Festival... rooms are hard to get. Wait, what? That's why we booked a room months ago. If you ordered a steak at a restaurant and they brought you a dried out hamburger patty... should they be able to suggest you are just lucky to eat - because they are running out of food? After asking for at least a reduced rate, they grudgingly offered 20 dollars. They said it was the difference between the two rooms. I don't know... but to have to downgrade a customer, it seems they would want to offer some kind of additional compensation. I once stayed at an Embassy Suites that comped the entire room because our check-in was delayed by several hours. Clearly Extended Stay America doesn't have quite the same concern for customer satisfaction. We cancelled our room (at no cost - how gracious of them). I felt good about it... maybe the lady who had reserved two rooms but was being told by the desk clerk that she only had one (despite her confirmation email to the contrary) would actually get her second room that night. Or maybe someone who drove many hours only to arrive later that night to find out that they couldn't even be downgraded would actually get to stay... instead of running around frantically, at who knows what time of night, to find a room... since... you know... they were overbooked. We did find another room... at the Sandia Casino. It was amazing! Two queens instead of a queen and a sofa sleeper (yet to have any linens) shoved into the room. Nicer, cleaner, valet parking, and fifty dollars cheaper. But, best of all, every member of the staff greeted us and treated us like we mattered... like they actually cared if our stay was going well and, indeed, if there was any way they could make it better. Perhaps the staff of the Extended Stay could visit the facility for a bit of customer service training.

The Edelweiss Condos are built around a central courtyard that includes a pool/that is heated to 92 degrees year 'round, dry sauna, 6 gas grills and a picnic area. We currently have 23 units available for rental. Each condo is individually owned and decorated to the owner's taste. Each condo has 2 bedrooms and at a minimum 1 1/2 baths. A few of our condos have added an additional bath upstairs and two have even added a shower in the bath on the main floor. All of the bedrooms are located on the second floor level with the full bathroom between the two bedrooms. The main level has a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room area with a wood burning fireplace. All wood is provided at no extra cost. We also have coin operated laundry services for your use on-site. We are a PET FREE facility but some of our owners bring their pets up from time to time. Although the condos were built originally in the 60's we have completed some major renovations over the past three years to include: New metal roofs, new vinyl double pane insulated windows and patio doors, new redwood decks, sewer and gas lines, and most importantly the pool has undergone a major renovation during the fall of 2011 and is in like new condition! We are the only lodging in the Town of Red River where you can legally unload an ATV/OHV/Snowmobile and ride directly from your condo to the trails that surround Greenie Peak. And we have ample parking to accommodate your trailers too!
We really enjoyed our stay in Condo #4 and it was a great place to hang out and make our own meals and relax after a day of skiing. The heated pool was excellent and we were treated excellent. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again when we come to Red River for our vacations.
