We had dinner here on a beautiful spring evening and took advantage of the weather to eat alfresco. Small plates and entrees available. The menu was very interesting with classics and very imaginative preparation and beautiful presentation. For example: a yummy crab cake made with whole grain mustard and served with radish slices. The green goddess flatbread with asparagus was both beautiful and delicious. Best cheese curds Iâve ever eaten (and I hail from Wisconsin!) Fresh salads and the hanger steak was well prepared and tasty with seasoning and potatoes. Service was excellent. I dont drink but they are known for their bourbon/whiskey menu which was extensive. May be of interest to some. Prices were reasonable for great dining in the city. Would definitely eat here again!

Had a great dinner and drinks. Several different themed rooms adds to the enjoyment. Great service, accommodated my allergies. Had fish and chips and bangers and mash and A LOT of dark and stormies and gimlets.

We enjoyed a delicious and filling dinner, and hope to come back in order to sit in the beer hall dining room, which seemed more festive. Our server was pleasant and helpful, although her estimation of how much the sausages weigh was quite incorrect...I think they weight more like 8 ounces each, not four. But we had six varieties and liked them all, especially the one with 7 herbs and the one with lamb. The sauerkraut was excellent, as was the potato salad. Two other folks had veal schnitzel, which also got rave reviews. One had the pepper sauce, which was excellent. The strudel was good. The only downside we felt was the pretzel, which was dense and just not as good as in Germany! And the spaghetti and meatballs ice cream is really not worthwhile. The beer was great of course, as was the selection.

Decent food and beer in Old City. Some outdoor seating and a pub vibe inside. Service was below average the night we were there.

Stopped in here for quick bite. Very friendly staff and nice beer selection. Got the grilled veggi salad which was scarce on grilled veggies mostly a bunch of wonderfully fresh spinach leaves. Just wasnât worth the price. Husband got ribeye steak sandwich which had excellent flavors though very small portion. Delicious fries!

Was ignored basically. Never got refills, asked if we needed anything else, etc. this is not new...itâs their business model. Many friends have said you go for the awesome food and put up with the service. Cute place. Great food. Sort of feels like they want you in and out. Hi, we're sorry to hear about your visit. Went there for Beers and a snack and it didn't disappoint, with lots of beer and snack options. They have Large Beers and Massive Beer options. Pretzel with Cheese Sauce and Horseradish Mustard was quite good. Great staff, friendly and plentiful seating. Fun time, glad we went!

Good New Orleans fare. Had beignets and Jambalaya. Wife had shrimp and grits. Cheese fries with gravy. Lots of Mac and cheese for the kids. Quick efficient service. Looked like a good choice at the bar too. Good place to take kids.
