Nicks is one of the better Pizza places in the area. The food is typically consistent and well presented. They make a really good cranberry salad with goat cheese, and all the food I've eaten from there has been really good. My only issue with this place is the owner who will on occasion speak rudely to customers. However, the rest of the staff are very pleasant. They don't take credit cards or debit cards and don't dare ask!

Food is very good but so is Italian connection and the owner at Italian connection is much nicer. The man behind the counter at Uncle Franks isn't very nice and slaps your change on the counter instead of handing it to you. I might suggest putting somebody a bit nicer to deal with the customers.

I have been coming to this restaurant for about 6 years now. I am not sure what has taken me so long to write a nice review for them. If you are in the mood for classic Italian this is the spot to go to if you are in northern NJ. The pizza is on point and the staff treats everyone like they are family. The location has plenty of seating so the wait time is normally minimal if any at all. If you do find yourself hanging out for a few minutes before your table is ready just grab a seat at the bar and Andrew or Brenda will pour you a nice cold drink. Whenever my family is in town visiting they always make sure I take them to Cassieâs at least once or twice while they are in town!

MUST have pizza from this place! I arrived for a visit at a friend's home and the family was late getting back from activities SO everyone agreed on pizza from here. This place specializes in putting almost ANYTHING on a pizza. IF it's on the menu here, you can get it on their pizza! We actually got Penne Vodka on a pizza and it tasted awesome! We also ordered a meat lovers pizza which came with sausage, pepperoni, ham and burger IF I remember correctly and that tasted great too. We got a Caesar salad with avocado and chicken too. We got take out and someone else picked it up so I have NO idea about the restaurant itself. However, if the pizza is any indication, it's probably worth a visit.

In this typical northern NJ Italian restaurant, the service is great and the food is very good. However, itâs not anything you havenât seen in other Italian restaurants. Itâs also very cramped and as others have noted, can get a bit noisey. Our server was attentive, everything came out perfectly. Donât plan on any leftovers to enjoy another day as portions are ample for your meal, just not âgenerousâ. Drinks are pricey, as are their desserts. Owners are on hand to great you and make sure everything is as it should be during your ,dining time there. Our table had an assortment of dishes. Steak, ravioli, & 3 different mixed seafood combos. All perfectly cooked. Bread comes with an interesting tomatoes relish of sorts. They have a large parking lot and the bar is often crowded.

Family Restaurant and Craft Beer House. Famous for Our Thin Crust Pizza and Pots of Mussels. Pizza Night is every Tuesday!
While visiting friends we decided to order an appetizer for take out. We agreed that mussels would be a great for our group. Someone recommended this Cafe so we ordered mild and spicy mussels. Not only did we receive an abundance of well prepared mussels, but the sauce alone was tasty and plentiful. Four of us ate the mussels and there was plenty for each of us. The cost was unbelievably low and the wait time was acceptable. I definitely recommend this cafe and look forward to ordering more mussels and other dishes from the Grant Street Cafe.
New to the area, exploring local neighborhoods, happened upon Paulie's. We tucked the name into our phones and called for delivery that evening. Now, let me explain that we have lived in Bergenfield for 6 months and are languishing without a decent pizza, in-store or delivered. Believe me when I say we have done the legwork looking. Disappointment reigned...Until yesterday. We get the pizza uncut so we can heat up the invariably cold pie that historically has been delivered by other places. We needn't have bothered. This pizza (a meat lovers pie with 'roni, meatballs, sausage, onions, mushrooms, are you kidding me??) arrived steaming hot and perfect. And On Time. Points plus, dear reader, points plus.We didn't know at the time the owner had actually delivered the pie (super-cute and very friendly, but I digress) himself. We braced ourselves for the disappointment that usually proceeded any pizza delivery. We lifted the box top, leaned forward, and inhaled. Perfect. And hot!!!We put it in the oven anyway for a few minutes and what emerged was the best damned pie we have had in the six months of searching.Crispy, well-balanced toppings, excellent tomato sauce...and here is where I truly fell in love, a tremendously fresh pizza crust with a crunch that brought a tear to my eye. And, wait for it...little drops of olive oil that dripped to my plate from the bent crust.Please. Had Our Lady of Fatima appeared, it would have been less of a miracle. We ate every single slice, and all the crust. And then I made the phone call.A sweetheart of a lady answered and I told her exactly what I told you and found out her son had purchased this pizzeria about a year ago, and they had been closed over the last month for renovations. Her son, she told me, had delivered the pizza himself. Now, my family has owned restaurants, and owned pizzerias -- I, my husband, and our son, are Chefs -- we get the sacrifice for your business, the passion that moves you to do everything. That delivery spoke volumes, and we are now fans of anything Paulie. Their website should be live soon; keep checking back. Don't read the Yelp listing; it's an old listing from the old place. But do go, and tip delivery well; he's paying for the schooling that made that crust possible.

My family enjoys our local Italian eatery. Can sit in or take out. Casual atmosphere. Food is always delicious. The Chicken Marsala is my favorite. My daughter loves the fettuccine Alfredo. My son enjoys the penne ala vodka. Excellent pizza. Have used TPR for trays to go to host a party at my house.
