With 20 consecutive years coming, Luigi's restaurant has not disappointed. It has a comfortable Italian style atmosphere and consistent flavorful food. The chef, Jessie, does an excellent job preparing our meals. Our always exceptional server Sue Ryan is the main reason we keep coming back. Her friendliness, attentiveness and outgoing personality makes her a one of a kind server.
Great pizza. This is located less than a block from our house. We anxiously awaited the opening which was delayed by delivery of the wood fired pizza oven. We started with takeout orders. My wife, who is not a strong pizza fan, loved the eggplant version. It was such a big hit that we had it for the last three of five weekends. This week we were joined by friends from New York who have some pizza experience. We ate in the restaurant with excellent service and everyone enjoyed the eggplant and the margarita versions.Without our requesting it, the waitress brought grated cheese and pepper flakes. The meal was topped off with the freshly made lemon basil gelato. We ate at a hard topped table with cloth napkins! It is a BYOB restaurant. Various soft drinks were available along with Italian coffees. Be sure to see the woodfired pizza oven with the rotating floor. We all plan to return during the season when we expect a longer wait for a table or for a pizza.

We enjoyed Marie Nicole's when it was in Wildwood Crest. Since we vacation in Stone Harbor, the move north was appreciated. Replacing Fuze, they've done a good job. Food quality was excellent, service also excellent. My wife had Gorgonzola over pasta with seafood. She would have been happy to have the 1/2 portion, but we missed that on the menu. Taste was really good. I had Seared Mahi Mahi Oscar over mashed potatoes and asparagus. The asparagus was outstanding, since it's usually limp and overcooked. Not here. Warm and crispy to the bite. The crab meat was also quite good. The highlight of the night, however, was the Salted Caramel Dessert Martini. Oh My! What a great finish to the meal! Couple of notes, though. The atmosphere was the old Fuze decor, and they will be renovating for 2018. So, the darkness problem will be resolved. Right now, it looks like a nightclub and that will change. I do think calling this a 'Grill' is not appropriate. That has whole other implications as to menu. This is really a 'grill' only on Wednesday nights when they have burger and bourbon drinks and only at the bar. As far as price, they are comparable to other restaurants of their type. I would consider 2017 a transition year for them and would expect adjustments for next year. We'll go back anyway.

Hands down the worst Italian food I've ever had! We ordered takeout for a group and not one person liked their meal. the minestrone soup tasted like a puddle of salt and was inedible (dumped it down the drain), the clams casino had barely cooked onions in it with a barely cooked piece of raw bacon on top, the linguini with White clam sauce tasted like the clam sauce came out of a can and the spaghetti with meatballs came with ONE meatball. The food was so bad I actually called the owner to complain, but she could have cared less. She told me the next time I come in she will give me two free minestrone soups. No thanks lady! We won't be back ever again! I would equate this place to an Olive Garden, not an authentic Italian restaurant the way they market themselves!

Had a nice table and beat the crowd with a mid week reservation. The prices are on the high side with veal entrees close to $30 and salad specials at $15. All four of us enjoyed our meals except for one minor detail. When one of our friends wanted to substitute a vegetable for pasta, the waiter told us there would be a $6 charge. Just about all restaurants would have made this change gratis. Our friends who had been here four times, were miffed at the extra charge. Our bill exceeded $150 for four without drinks and dessert. We did have a very good dinner.

Very good food and itâs BYOB, which is a plus. However, noise level inside is far too loud for conversation. Would recommend requesting an outside table. This makes for a very enjoyable dining experience.

After reading other reviews that mentioned long waits in the restaurant, we decided a Friday night was not the time to test our luck. We ordered two pizzas for pickup - 45 mins. and $30. For a Friday night in Avalon, not bad. The woman who waited on me at the counter was friendly but efficient. There was a crowd of diners and those waiting to pick up, but our order was ready right on time and I was able to park only a few spaces away from the entrance. Cash only; there's an ATM inside.
