We literally drive from Long Island to go here, this time we stayed at Crown plaza Edison, and spent the day at Long Branch, very nice. The Seafood Tower Special for Two, $39, includes Lobster, Tuna, Clams, Shrimp, Oysters, Fruiti de Mare. I was full just from that. Always love the Rack of Lamb, Veal Chop was just OK. I think maybe next time share an entree or just order 2 more apps. Never know what to order anyway, too many choices. And of course BYOB!

Hibachi Steakhouse and Sushi Restaurant. We serve entertaining meals where dishes are prepared at your table by our hibachi Expert Chefs, serving fine grilled steaks, chicken and seafood delights. Have some sushi and sashimi from our exclusive sushi bars.
We were told about 30 mini for a table. Apparently we werenât the only ones told that. Almost an hour later we were seated. Plus another 30 minutes for the waiter to take our order and get drinks. Fried rice tasted great and show was ok. Chef made a mess and spilled our drink on the grill. Apparently everyone was born on the same day as it was non stop lights and gong sounds lol. Might have also received a touch of food poisoning - bathroom required.

Welcome to The Armory. Located directly on Perth Amboy's historic waterfront, The Armory is a hidden jewel that showcases a unique and beautiful view of the Raritan Bay and the New York borough of Staten Island. This completely restored naval ammunition b
This is quite a big place, scenic, right on Raritan Bay. Extensive first floor, well appointed, many tables inside, and spacious tables outside overlooking the bay and boats moored nearby. Second floor big enough to accommodate 2 separate good sized events, ie 100 or more. 3rd floor Admiral s room also quite large, but the only room not in use at the time we were there. Doors and elevator accommodated handicapped person in a wheelchair in our party, no problem. Big bar, drinks on the expensive side, 2 bartenders on duty 1st floor. Ample valet parking. Good food, obviously good seafood, as it s right on the bay. See pictures.

I was born and raised in Perth Amboy, I started going there decades ago. I moved away and went back to celebrate a birthday. The building has not been updated since opening. The fake, green carpet on the sidewalk has to go. Never looked good 30 years ago and now it's unsightly. The bar and restaurant needs new furniture and some updating. We were the first customers at 5 pm. Service was fine but food lacking. The Portuguese potatoes were brown, cold and overcooked. All 3 platters were the same. The kitchen staff should never have brought them out. The fried seafood platters were plentiful and the seafood crisp and hot. The rice was room temperature. Another mistake by the kitchen. The paella was packed with rice and seafood and meats. But tasted very fishy. The calamari was tough and rubbery. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Sad to see a former favorite not serve food up to par. Due to the fact we were the only table - our meals should have been perfect considering the kitchen was not busy. I sadly would not recommend this restaurant.

We had been wanting to visit Broadway Seafood for awhile and finally got there. We didn't have a menu so we went in and ordered takeout. The owner was friendly as he took our order and he suggested that we take a menu so we could call our order in next time. We will definitely be back. The portions were large; I had the fried flounder, shrimp and scallops. My husband got the crab cake, shrimp and scallops. You can choose what you want on your combination platter which is nice. In addition, the coleslaw is homemade, and it was delicious. There is seating inside and a bench if you are waiting for takeout. We really enjoyed our meal and we will be back.

So each visit is exciting. The seating is always cozy. The byob option really appeals to all here. Food is diverse but appropriate seasonally & otherwise. Have had nothing but excellent meals.. Try the Creole selection. Bam!!

Enjoyed Saturday evening dinner at this nice and cozy restaurant by the marina. Nice walk on the waterfront before dinner. Had early reservation which may not have been necessary but by 7pm you definitely need a reservation. There are three rooms for seating- note that the bar area does not have any water views and since the restaurant is not on the water, no views are great. The menu was extensive and there was a very nice early bird menu that was very inexpensive. We did not order from the early bird partially because our waiter told us the early bird portions were a little smaller. I ordered the whole boiled lobster and while it was very good, it could have been served hotter. Our server was excellent. The only other thing that struck me was the bread sticks were excellent. Finally there is a discount coupon on Restaurant.com

Itâs not often we get a chance to visit here. I love the atmosphere and most of all the food. The restaurant is small and they squeeze as many tables as possible. The service might be a little slow but be patient itâs worth it. I love the food.
