We decided to try this restaurant for dinner. The place is modern with a nice vibe. The branzino was excellent..didn't really like the the side vegetables. We also had the duck confit which was good but not great. It's a very small portion and I didn't understand why they served a medium boiled egg with the dish. The Presecco was not a great quality for $12. The dessert apple pie with caramel icecream was fantastic. I felt that the restaurant as a whole was very expensive and things were over priced. The service was decent but on the slow side.

We don't go often, but when we do we aren't disappointed. The speciality beers make my husband smile and some of the creole inspired dishes make me sing (well, not literally). The kids love this place and so do my parents. Really enjoyable with friendly staff.

We ate here while staying with friends in Maplewood, which is a very pretty town. Food was good. My husband had the Chicken Goujons, I had the crock of Mature cheddar and crackers. We also had a very good Marlborough at a reasonable price. Went back the next day for more!

I want this restaurant to succeed. But, sadly, changing the name has done little to impact the sub-par food and service. I went for lunch, with an out of town guest - and was, frankly, embarrassed, by the quality of the food and the service.Hopefully, the owners are hard at work training the kitchen and service staff. This place has tremendous potential.

Brisket sandwich was tasty and tender but not enough meat and a bit fatty. Pulled Pork platter was good and generous portions. Service was friendly and efficient and the place is comfortable. Coleslaw and sweet potato fries were decent. Cornbread was average and broccoli casserole was not so good. Overall and enjoyable meal. Thank you for your positive recommendation. We love getting feedback from our customers and are happy to hear about how great your experience was. We look forward to seeing you the next time you stop by from some mouthwatering BBQ!Thanks again!!

Give me a relaxed welcoming environment serving great food over a uptight fancy pants restaurant serving overpriced food every time. Star Pizzeria did not disappoint. Here I will say that it's everything that makes it great. The chill bar with lots of tables, tv's, locals, cheap beer, and good food. We ordered a plain and pepporni pizza. The pizza was crispy, cheesy, and tasty. It was good in a thin crust bar style pizza is good. Would I go back just for the pizza? Probably not but if someone wants good food, cheap drinks, and a casual atmosphere. Star Tavern is a great spot.

Southern-style menu coupled with great jazz music, some evenings live, and great cocktails make this a phenomenal place in South Orange village. Located on busy Valley Street, you need to find street parking or walk from one of the parking lots closer to the train station. The decor is very tasteful and the service is wonderful. With a great selection of foods, both for those who prefer small plates to those who want a larger meal, this place is the real deal!

If you're one of those people who want to watch sports while you eat good food then you can't go wrong at Bunny's. There are screens everywhere so you won't miss out on any game. Meanwhile, the garlic salad is fantastic and HUGE. It's for at least 2 people so keep that in mind when you order it. And it's chock full of pepperoni, cheese, veggies, etc.The pizza is terrific. I love the dough especially. The service was good as well.
