Havana meets Miami in Hoboken! Serving traditional Cuban food at both locations. At the Uptown location serving over 40 Wines-by-the-Glass and a dozen Craft Beers on tap.
We've eaten breakfast at La Isla before and it never disappoints. This time around, I had the french toast with toasted almonds and powdered sugar. It was so good. My husband had the La Isla Egg Sandwich which he absolutely loved. Our daughter and son-in-law had omelets. And the coffee is the best! This time around, the service was slower than usual, but the food remains good enough to wait for! Prices are reasonable.

Noches De Colombia offers a tasty meal, hefty portions and very reasonable prices, esp. for the lunch specials. The service is good and the restaurant is very spacious. One of the best offerings is the "to go" counter and bakery. They have the best Colombian breads, pastries and coffee. Must try!

El Centro truly lives up to its name as the center of Hell's Kitchen's colorful community, where local talent, and theatre and film celebrities meet regularly to unwind and enjoy authentic Mexican fare in a relaxed and festive environment. Having opened i
Visiting the fantastic NYC and fancied some Mexican food. A quick bit of research suggested that El Centro would fit the bill. What a fantastic find this turned out to be. Fantastic, friendly, unrushed service. Incredible mojitos and food to die for. You know a place is going to be good when locals eat there - and there were plenty doing just that! We ate at around 6pm or so and had no problem getting an outside table. By 7pm the place was heaving, so arrive in good time for a great evening!

Absolutely delicious. You must visit here and try a variety of everything. The especial was a particular highlight! The portions are big and 2 is probably fine for 1 person (but I happily got through 4). Itâs more of a place for a takeaway/ very quick standing up eat but that shouldnât deter you.

No reservation needed. Walk ins of any size are welcome for lunch, brunch or dinner. Home style Brazilian kitchen. Full Bar. Serving artisanal cocktails. Attentive and professional service. Casual Chic, Casual Dress . Everyone is welcome!
We went to the place based on menu, but got surprised by spectacular service! The beginning surprise was good, we really liked it and the following appertizer was tasty as well :) Main Picanha was sadly cut too thin, so it lost some juicyness, but the girl serving us compensated it totally with her positivity :)Portions are pretty big, so be careful ordering entrees ;)

First time visit, thx to Trip Advisor. The ambience excellent, the service very good and food was amazing, good taste, quality and good presence. However, a bit noisy, you should know Latin people.I gave 5 start to the restaurant, not to the noisy people was there tonight.I highly recommend it. Enjoy good cuban food.

The restaurant is owned by brothers John and Tommy Greco along with their longtime friend Christian Tanno. The Greco name should ring a bell: Chef/Restaurateur John oversees the beloved Village eatery Philip Marie (open 18 years) that serves up delicious
Nice friendly restaurant providing very good steaks, the Filet Mignon was superb. The whole experience was good until payment time. Unfortunately the experience was ruined to some extent by a waiter who chose to overcharge an item on the bill &, instead of discreetly apologising & removing the overcharge, took the option to loudly & repeatedly 'argue his case' in front of all the diners. Regretably the Management, who where in earshot, chose to ignore the issue until we asked the waiter to call the Manager to our table - only then did they remove the overcharge from the bill.As stated above - good food but I would suggest that all potential diners keep an eye on their bills. Scoring would have been higher if the overcharge incident had been dealt with properly.

This place never disappoints. The food is good, the portions are generous, the atmosphere is lively and the prices are more than reasonable. They also have valet parking, though I choose to park on my own.
